Norris 5 for Number 5! Sweet!

Brind'Amour got the Selke again? Stupid point-loving voters!

Isn't the title of this thread a bit off?
-
I'll guess three years/$9.75M.
-
You do know you can watch Coach's Corner on CBC.ca, right?
-
We never had Calder's 2.9 million on the cap to begin with. I'm sure plenty of teams would love to add Markov for 3 million.

Hull is really sucking up to Don.
-
Yeah... Some realistic numbers though: Smyth: 6.5 Bertuzzi: 2.5 (+ bonuses) Markov: 3.25 Schneider: 3.25

This is what happens with no MacLean to slow him down.

who should Detroit target the most in free agency?

I like Ortmeyer, but don't we have enough bottom liners and PKers? -
anyone know the exact amount of contracts we got ?

That roster only includes players that skated in an NHL game this season. No, they won't count. Ellis and Hussey are UFA. Bootland is RFA. -

I think we have 25 players signed right now. 1. Howard (2008) 2. Osgood (2008) 3. Ericsson (2008) 4. Kindl (2010) 5. Kronwall (2012) 6. Lebda (2010) 7. Lidström (2008) 8. Lilja (2008) 9. Quincey (2008) 10. Cleary (2008) 11. Franzén (2009) 12. Kopecky (2009) 13. Datsyuk (2014) 14. Draper (2008) 15. Flippula (2008) 16. Helm (2010) 17. McGrath (2009) 18. Oulahen (2008) 19. Ritola (2010) 20. Zetterberg (2009) 21. Holmström (2010) 22. Maltby (2010) 23. Ryno (2010) 24. Samuelsson (2009) 25. Emmerton (2010) - contract to be pushed to 2011 should Emmerton be returned to the OHL 26. Grigorenko (2008) -
Well. I wouldn't want $20M (6.5 Smyth, 6.5 Zetterberg, 6.7 Datsyuk) tied up in three forwards. That's for sure.

Detroit signing Smyth to a five-year, $30M contract = bye-bye, Zetterberg in 2009.

Come on, Sens!

Ritola, Ryno sign 3-year entry-level contracts
Systemfel replied to zetterbergfuturemvp's topic in General
I'm not so sure. I've always thought he looks kind of lazy out there occasionally. For instance, he doesn't seem to like backcheckling a whole lot, and I've never seen him accelerate hard to blow by a defenseman. -
Ritola, Ryno sign 3-year entry-level contracts
Systemfel replied to zetterbergfuturemvp's topic in General
Not too sure about that. He needs to un-Langify himself a bit first. -
Just wondering, how would Carolina be able to sign Aaron Ward in June, 2007?

Yeah...nothing new on Ryno yet. -
Detroit prospect forward Mattias Ritola has signed with the Red Wings, but will not cross the Atlantic until next year. http://www.leksandsif.se/index.php?page=ne...p;readmore=3018 http://www.hockeysfuture.com/prospects/mattias_ritola

For those of you wondering, Johan Ryno has told Swedish paper City that he and the Red Wings have agreed on him playing another year in Sweden. He will most likely sign with the Wings before the June 1st deadline, though.
