Wow, the Wings just completely shut down the Sharks in the 3rd. Best played game of the season so far.

Wow Howard was basically unreal. As hoped, looking like Helm is developing some really good hands. Wasn't fun watching all of those shots against but I suppose we all know why JIMMY is getting the starts.

I'd recommend "Blood Feud" by Adrian Dater which chronicles the Wings/Avs rivalry. Has an awesome forward by Scotty Bowman. I also have "The Captain" from the Detroit Free Press which is obviously about Yzerman's career.

And you were a fan when Feds was a Wing??? Seriously enlighten us all about the Fedorov scenario. It was obvious that Hossa couldn't be signed after the Mule deal. Hossa decided to go to another good organization (does Bowman ring a bell???). The guy was a Wing for a year and he took a big pay cut just to do that. He didn't pull his weight in the playoffs, but he was hurt. He wasn't lazy and he didn't suck. It was a two way gamble that didn't work out.

This is seriously a statement game against the Hawks. Even with close to half of the starting lineup out, I really think that the Wings can take this game in the Joe. GO WINGS!!!!!

Should the Wings Allow Players to Play in the Olympics?

These guys (or any player in the NHL) should have the option to play for their country. Yes, there are those risks. I know that most of us Wings fans would be happier seeing our boys rest up, but I suppose we shall see were the priorities are. As said, the Olympics only comes around every four years, and seriously, who wouldn't want to play for their country? -
Yeah Big Bert is shooting more and showing more confidence. I suppose that what more ice time will do.

Yes it does. I caught a puck in the chin at Storm game that had to be closed up with 7 stitches. That's what you get when you take your eye off the puck though. The puck landed in the lap of the guy behind me but he felt so bad for me that he gave me the puck.

My seat for Game 1 of the SCF was seat 15 in section 220. It was an aisle seat on the the blue line so seat 1 in section 223 probably would be on the blue line.

I believe the knee on knee hits are pretty much automatic suspensions. I really don't see much of a difference between Laraque's hit and OV's. But then again, it seems that the Penguins and OV are exempt from suspensions. Yeah both of these hits may have been just a basic reaction, but any player should know that you just can't do that.

Anybody watching this game on Buckeye cable the channel is 69 instead of channel 8 tonight.

If Big E gets paired with Lids then I suppose that he could learn a lot very quickly. Does this really matter? Even if a suspension is handed out, the Wings have lost one of their top D and any retribution won't matter.

I'd jump for joy for just a spain on Kronner's knee after seeing that knee to knee but I think that is a preliminary evaluation and nothing will be known for sure until the MRIs come back.
