It would have been nice to get a pick from from an NHL team that would have offered more. Kind of sucks seeing Huds go, but at the least, Huds made the Wings aware of his intentions somewhat early. Looking like a youth movement on the Wings roster this year... and yeah, that isn't a bad thing.

Would feel a bit better if Conks was still the back up. The D didn't play up to their potential last season. The D is going to have to play much better this coming season in order for the Wings to stay where they have been for so many years.

Sundin may be a remote possibility if Hossa won't sign for something reasonable. Highly doubt Hossa or a Sundin signing. Just too many players in the system waiting to move up.

That affiliation is kind of what I was hoping for (even if is still the ECHL). Will probably buy season tickets now. Hopefully in the near future the Griffs get moved to the Toledo arena. That almost happened about 10 years ago until Carty (the mayor of Toledo who is being recalled now) f***ed up that deal. Good news!!!

I'm good. Took off from my friend's place 10 seconds after the final horn (yeah had to put on my shoes so that's why it took so long to get out of there). Never saw any celebration, out of sight, out of mind is the way I see it. Picked up a 12 pack on the way home to induce the numbing. And yes, I can agree, WE ARE REALLY SPOILED FANS. Don't take for granted for the way this team has been for over 15 years. A lot of winning, and not a lot of losing. I don't think any fan in professional sports can't envy the Wings organization and it's winning tradition. GO WINGS!!!! BRING THE CUP BACK IN 2010!!!!!!

Have spent most of my time since the conclusion of game 6 just trying to get a single ticket. Are the scalpers around the arena gonna be the best bet now for game 7? Any suggestions for finding 1 ticket on a site that can be bought withing a few hours of the game without spending 600 bones?

Yeah figure they are gonna drop a bit. The single tickets always drop significantly within the last few hours before the game. Still have faith, but this has been so frustrating just finding one decently priced ticket. Lost a bid on Ebay by $5 for a ticket that ended at $380.00. Karma owes me!!!!

Yeah that song was played in at least game 5 last year. Pretty much deals with the 2002 Cup win but is kind of a tradition now.

Wow thought that I was screwed up. Yeah I make sure that every Wings shirt I have is washed and is on a hanger except the one I wear during the game. Been wearing my green Wings T for most of the wins including when they won it last year. I hate beards so I shave on game day (won't shave on any other day but game day). I only wear my Wings jersey to games that I go to. Crap, got to do some laundry now!!!!
