Wish someone could get an audio clip of the pregame when they play Kid Rock's "Ain't No Party Like a Detroit Party". That's the loudest I've heard the crowd sing of all of the tunes (at least that was the loudest @ game 1).

Yep, Hank has just been a beast. Ozzie has been so consistent through the playoffs though. Still wouldn't be surprised if Malkin or Crosby are named. This has happened before. If the Wings win, the NHL's whole media campaign goes to hell. Just an observation with at the most 2 games left.

I think if the majority of the crowd knew that Bettman was in the arena, there would have been a good "Bettman Sucks" chant. Hell there should have been one of those going for every game this season.

Park at the Cobo roof. Take 75 N to Fort St. (thinks it's exit 43 but when you see the big gas storage tank painted with a Piston basketball on it on your left make sure you are in the right lane) Hang a right and get in the left lane and due a U back onto Fort St. Follow Fort St. to 3rd and hang a right and follow it to the Cobo roof parking entrance that will be on your right (beware that when you hang a right on 3rd that some guys will try to divert you off to another parking lot..but keep going straight and the street will swerve off to the left). Cobo roof parking will on the right then. Park. Go to your right heading towards the river then take the elevator down with all of the other fans and you will find the Joe. Hopefully these directions will just be a waste of time on my part

Yep will be happy when I can get CBC HD too. I was hoping the VS broadcast on Tuesday would be better by a long shot compared to the NBC broadcasts...but it wasn't. Willing to sacrifice the VS HD eye candy so that I don't have to hear Crosby or Malkin love every other sentence.

Deleted my preset VS recording. Watching on CBC tonight. Hopefully a little less Crosby love.

If you can wait till the day of the game, StubHub tickets will start falling in price. If you have a laptop, park out in front of StubHubs office there in downtown Detroit, bid on a the tickets in the last hour before the game and you should be close to paying face for the tickets.

Curious if the Wings bench noticed the 6 on 5. I mean really, over 20 seconds and no ref or anybody on the Wings bench noticed and started yelling about it? Yeah, granted, mistakes can be made and not noticed, but really?? for over 20 seconds? Hell the commentators were yelling about it long enough that somebody could have called the Wings bench and let them know.
