When Draper is able to get back into the lineup, I think Malts will get the short end of the stick. Kope is playing well and using his size to grind down so I don't think that Malts will trump him. If anything Kope and Malts will be swapped out depending on the situation. Draper is just too valuable in the face off to be a healthy scratch.

If Ozzie can keep up the play that he did in the first 3 games, no doubt. I think the 4th game was a bit of Ozzie not playing healthy and a breakdown in the D. Whoever comes up in the 2nd, they will be facing a mucy deeper D and deeper forward lines than what they played in the 1st round.

Looks like the Wings are gonna run into a hot goaltender no matter which team they play next. Kind of hope this series goes the distance though with the Ducks on top. The Wings might have to find their legs for the first game, but it could make the difference over a long series with the Ducks.

Awesome game. Nice sweep at that. Looks like the Wings will get a weeks rest which probably couldn't hurt with any undisclosed injuries. Get to enjoy this awesome weather here in the Toledo/Detroit area for the weekend and gloat on this series win. -

Figured something was going on in the stands when the game ended and the cameras showed everyone looking up. Umm this probably happens quite a bit in the playoffs. Remember that arena was probably 50/50 between Wings/Jackets fans as it usually has been since the Jackets came into the league. The odds of some clueless Jackets fan getting pissed off and going postal was really good.

Yeah this Hawks/Flamers series is getting funner to watch. Things are starting to goon up with that series. Thinking Columbus is really gonna start gooning things up too with their size. Gonna be a fun game to watch, probably a 50/50 split in fans down there at the game.

Hope the boys can play like they did in the last 35 of last game. Going 2-0 into Columbus will be huge as it will be almost a home game with all of the Wings fans in there (are there really an BJ fans out there that were not Wings fans first?).

Thought that Ozzie played an amazing game. Think that the last 2G against was the fault of the D. Wow nice to start watching the team turn into the machine that they really are.

The best D I have seen this season. Erricson was passing up very well and just played great for the most part. Don't think Hossa will be showing up for the next game, but glad to hear all is well. Hope we can take a back to back series for once. Lines were well spread so I'm thinking that the Wings should be OK against the Avs.

Looking forward to see how Helm fits in. Nice to have the luxury of these players being brought up due to the long term injuries now. Remember that the cap does not apply in the playoffs. Good time to bring up the youth. To bad Erickson is out with a wrist injury, hope to see him soon.

Umm what crap. Gary has drawn the line obviously. Yeah there are the players called alternates for the AS game. Lids and Dats should be the starters except we have this ridiculous vote. If Lids and Dats can play the next game, then they should.

The Wings have the luxury of playing a tandem of goalies that are playing quite well right now. Babs is gonna play who he thinks is right against the opponents. That's a nice option to have.

Stupid technical difficulties on Buckeye Cable. Stuck watching guys play footbal in wheelchairs while the fix it. I hate it when the games are on the FSN+ channels, always seems to have problems.

Noon game on New Years Day isn't going to happen for me so this game will be going to the DVR. Looking forward to watching, but I'm not going to pay that kind of money to go to a game that I am gonna freeze my ass off. Love the gear and plan picking up a few things.

The BCSN channel 8 is showing the high school state championship game with Sylvania playing in it. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be on channel 13 but the programing guide isn't listing it. http://msn.foxsports.com/id/6447224

No, not going to bother with that conspiracy theory . Just a complaint that the linesmen didn't do a good job (yes everyone make mistakes). If you can watch a puck, then you would have noticed that, yes the linesmen did stop a few pucks back into the Wings zone, of which none became a scoring chance. Just an observation.
