Yes it was not one of Stuart's greatest performances of the year. Everyone is going to have a bad game. He was just pinching up to much most of the time and out of position. Don't put the full blame on him as nobody was really showing up until the 3rd period anyway.

Absolutely agree. Goals against the Wings were made from bad passes and clears coming out of the zone. Just the same the Wings capitalized on in the first couple of games. Very fun game to watch even though the Wings didn't win but I am hoping the momentum of the 3rd period will carry forward.

Yeah just a little bit nervous. Gonna keep to my pre-game rituals since the playoffs have started. Worried about how the refs may try to control this game as usual. As long as the PK keeps doing what it has been doing, then no concern.

I would not be suprised if the Z and D line get split up. From the the way I saw Franzen play,, he may play on on the first or second line.

Looking forward to the first away game. I really can not figure how the Pens are going to win this game. Franzs had a very good game in both zones. If the Pens want to try to match the ZDH line that they need to know that it may be split. Good luck. Go Wings

Wow just loved how Babs ripped that reporter a new AH about the question of the first goal being waived and how the Pens coach just looked completely dumbfounded in the coach interviews. Somebody needs to post a clip of those interviews. Classic!!!!!!

Been here before 2002 under the same user name when we had to re-register . Man I remember the server puking when we were deep into the playoffs .... that sucked.

For the fact that the last three games against Dallas where horribly called by the refs (Gee let see make the Wings work harder against Dallas so they will have to face a rested team in the East named the Penguins) I fully expect some very bad officiating in this series. The Wings PK pulled them through last series and they are gonna have to do the same thing this series.

Yeah and Captain America plays on that red team??? Bettman has his poster boy media going for sure.

I think VS contractually gets the first 2 games and the remaining games are televised on NBC

Can't go to Detroit without hitting Pizza Papalis. Best pizza I have ever had. The Sheraton is on the riverside walkway to the Joe. A couple of my friends stayed there and I met them there to go to a playoff game last year. Somehow ended up in walk-a-thon on the way to Joe but all was good (except for the Wings losing that game).

Yep same for me. I just want to see Bettman's poster child face a real team with a real defense. Kind of like Tiger Woods is to the PGA (like the guy and respect him) but the media can't come up with a statement unless Woods is in it. So looking forward to this series.

I don't really understand how this 33 year has come about. So a team makes a 3-0 comeback and 33 years later another team does it. So let me count there, it has happened just once over the span of 33 years (meaning that it would have to have happened twice 33 years apart putting the NHL at 99 years old at the earliest). So 33 years later comes 2008 with 2 teams in their CF 3 games up and they both lose game 4. Not going to put any stock into it. Can't stand the Flyers but glad they got a win tonight. Can't stand the Penguins witherwith their poster boy. Time for everyone to know who Zets and Dats really are come the Finals.
