As usual, great GDT aflac. Been to a lot of games but really looking forward to this one as I will be going to this game (S124, R10, S1-4). Going to the game with my best bud, his gf, and his nephew. He's been an Avs fan since they have been the Avs and they made signs for the game. I made my own which says "I don't know them .. Go Wings". First playoff game to see the Wings and Avs play in person so I hope everyone that goes to the game does there job. 4-1 Wings (lets not try to think back to 99')

If Zetts and Pavel aren't in the mix for the Selke then I guess I will lose all faith.

A buddy of mine scored 10th row lower bowl center ice tickets to the Saturday game. So stoked to go to this game. Watched 81 out of 82 games this season so all of you will hear my voice. GO WINGS!!!!

Melrose has been doing this since I can recall seeing his stupid mullet on TV ( at least 12 years and going strong). Will he ever go away?

Tried that in 2002 but I could only grow it for a series before it drove me ( and my girlfriend) nuts. This series I am wearing a RW T that has won every game that I have worn it. Like going to the Joe with a black T under the jersey but I am going to be wearing that grey T for every game.

Yeah take that poll again since the Ducks were knocked out in the 1st round and I think you will see the Ducks near the bottom of list

Looking forward to avenge the hit on Lidstrom. DMac will take care of that. The Avs have a real good team, but the Wings D is so much better and has too much depth. Take it for what you will. It's gonna be a tough series and the history may be a factor. I guess we finally get what we wished for.

2nd time reading it. Just a great read for any hockey fan. I think the rivalry may come back this year.

Finishing up "Blood Fued" within the next few days. Pumped up about this series. Gonna be at the Joe for Games 1&2 and Game 5 if necessary.

My best friend is an Avs fan (yeah pretty screwed up) but he's paying for tickets for the home games if the Avs are the Wings 2nd round opponent.

Anyone know if the game is on the FSD HD channel. The last game in Nashville was on it but not sure about tonight. Looks like American Idol is getting the boot so I can record on the regular FSD channel and the HD channel (which is showing no listing on the programming guide). I have buckeye cable but get the same coverage as the Detroit area providers get.

The whistle is annoying but comes no where close that screaming lady in San Jose who screamed her head off every time the Wings took a shot on SJ's goal. Ended up having to watch the games in San Jose with the volume muted because I couldn't take it anymore.

Looking forward to DMac putting TooToo in his place tonight. That will take the crowd out of the game.

This is gonna be a goon game for sure. I'm expecting quite a few fights and a lot of hits.

Good as far as the travel goes for the first round, but hot goalies and a team that wasn't even picked to make into the playoffs is another concern.

I think that makes the 1st round the Wings vs Preds right?

Hopefully this game will get the boys into playoff mode with back to back games. Waiting for the bubble to burst for SJ, but crap, who knows?

I think Malone is a better fit in the Wings system than any of the other FAs out there. Get it done Kenny.

Wow .... I think the crew did everything they could to not mention the Wings or go along with there picks for the season trophies after promising to have some kind of analysis on the season.

I think that was in 2002 when Matt did that on April Fools Day. I remember that the message board/server puked during the Cup finals and everybody had to register to the site again so that's why the earliest members on here are from June 2002 even though some of us (including me) have been members here for quite longer.
