Anybody noticing some lady making some god awful pitching scream or howl everytime SJ is in their offensive zone. It's driving me freaking nuts!

I really don't like day games either. It's probably because the majority of the games are at night so the day games kind of kick me out of my routine. Yeah it sucked trying to catch a Wings game when I lived in Orange County for a year. Had to leave early from work to catch the 7:30 Eastern starters (although I could always get tickets to see them when they visited the Pond).

Hope this is on FSN because my VS digital and HD feeds for the Devils/Senators game on right now is all messed up.

Very pissed off about the Boos coming in the Joe ( I thought only fans from Canada did that) I guess everyone is pissed off about the ticket prices then. All said, this is the playoffs, and anything goes. I think that we have a playoff team and they seam to show that. The Tank will not matter. GO WINGS!!!

Yeah my HD VS channel isn't showing it even though it is listed on the programming guide. Luckily the regular digital VS is carrying it.

So a team from Canada in the West and East still standing. I guess that when the Wings do their road trips to Canada I just notch those games as almost guaranteed losses. Some may call it the Canada Curse, to me it is just the Canada Conspiracy. Rang very true in this game.

This was a hip check and it looks like Lebda's knee buckled when his legs went into the boards. If that is the case and I really think it is, than Langkow's sucker punch is really just that as Lebda was probably in pain from the knee injury and Langkow clearly lifted up Lebda's head and gave him an uppercut. BS Langkow should not be playing in the next game period.

Not like this was not expected. Lines were changed but I believe this was for the long run. A lot of bad calls but what would you expect playing in CA? If everyone is still playing in Game 4 then that is a good thing. GO WINGS

Gonna miss the Storm and the TSA even though the building sucked, it was a great place to watch hockey there. From what I heard there was a local company that was negotiating the purchase of the Storm and they were going to build a prefab 4000 seat arena in Perrysburg. Obviously that didn't happen which was probably the only way the Storm could have stayed in existence. I guess I'm wondering if the Wings will still have an affiliate in the ECHL next year?

IJust finished the VS recap/preview and the last 10 minutes of the Preds/Shark game. I thought they would get better but wow I don't know how they could get much worse. Around the remaining 8 minute mark of the third the announcer started talking how the Preds were dominating and missing a golden opportunity to put the game away when at that point it was the Sharks doing that . It is really bad when you can't get the names of the teams right. Also no mention of the Wings/Flames game at all even though VS showed footage from the prior games at the end of the show. Just really bad for hockey with these guys trying to broadcast and comment on a game.

How in the heck did Jamie Macoun come up? I remember holding my breath everytime he was on the ice.

Just got back from the game after a visit to Motor City casino and an hour drive back. What a game. My seats were on the aisle at center ice in row sixteen in the lower bowl and they were just incredible seats (obviously somebody's regular season seats that passed on the playoffs). The game is just so much better in the lower bow.l It's too bad it so hard to get those seats during the regular season. Anyway Hank looked good and Cleary was just flying the whole game and while the 2nd period was a little shaky, still another solid performance. Looking forward to Game 3.

If Bert is cleared to play, then Rex will be the cut. Sammy has the size and is still very skilled which should point to his return to Game 2. As said, it is nice to have this choice, but I am still concerned that we may have a problem with the D if one should fall.

Had to DVR this as I had to go to the wife's concert. Just finished and man, that was a really solid performance. Hank looked better than expected and Dom was solid although Kipper made some great saves. If the Wings can keep the forcheck up and Dom stays solid, well, that could help in the series and beyond. Looking forward the next game as I will be there in the lower bowl near center ice (never had such great seats).

Hum, checked the cable guide for Buckeye Cable and it has it listed as the Tigers game on FSD for that timeslot. Since I won't be able to catch the game live I have to DVR it so I'm a little nervous about missing the game. I would prefer to watch it with Ken & Mickey if I can. So would this revert to that FSD Plus station that I can't get? Luckily, I can still get the CBC broadcast so I guess I'll take that over the Versus feed.

So no FSN broadcasts? I can't complain for the HD broadcast from Versus and NBC but I would rather hear Mickey and Ken than to deal with the commentating on Versus and NBC. I'll be at Game 2 but it is a 1:00 PM start on a Sunday when I was hoping to hit the Motor City casino before and after the game.. I guess I can't complain since I have near center lower bowl for the game but I will really miss Mickey and Ken. And crap, I have to go to a Harry Connick Jr concert on Thursday ( have to appease the wife once in while) so it will go to the DVR. Oh well, Go Wings!

I kind of hope that the Avs can take the 8th spot. It will be a good first round for the Wings.

I have to agree.. Feds was an integral part of all the Stanley Cups that went to Detroit. I guess that I am one those fans that still holds a grudge (note aviator). The last Sunday game, Brett Hull noted that nobody should be booing such a talented player and Mickey made close to the same comments regarding the fans booing him. Feds just does not deserve the lack of respect he's been receiving from the crowds at the Joe.

Picked up a pair when they went on sale at 10:00 AM. Got a pair for Game 2 in section 107 row 16 which I believe is close to center ice (at least looking at the map of the Joe at ticketmaster).

I was in California on spring break visting my brother.. My brother's roomate and I went to Big Bear that day and went snowboarding. I convinced him to leave early (he was from Michigan and was a RW fan) so that we could get back to watch the game because I knew it was going be a huge game. Needless to say, he thanked me for getting us back early to catch the entire game.

As Nick keeps collecting the awards, there has been much more focus on his play, and as everyone keeps focusing, they keep discovering how incredible of a player Lidstrom really is. He has his next Norris and the respect he deserves as one the best players out there, and one of the greatest D to ever play the game (some people may rank him as one of the greatest to ever play)

I'm hoping that hockey can stay in Toledo, but the odds are not good (at least for a few years if the Storm folds) . Some of us from the Toledo area might recall, the Griffs were to be relocated to a new arena that was to be built in the Crossroads development in the Perrysburg/Rossford area. As I recall good old Carty (the mayor then and unfortunately now) made some big opposition to it because it could have taken fan aways from the Storm. Carty went so far as to ask everyone to boycott Little Caesars (good move when the franchises are locally owned). I''m still surprised that RW organization kept their ECHL affiliate in Toledo after what Carty pulled. I'm still hoping that a deal can be done to bring the Griffs to Toledo with a new arena, but that will obviously not happen until Carty is out of the picture
