If you looking for the quickest in and out parking at the Joe, the Cobo Roof ($10) is the way to go. You can walk out of the Joe and be on the road within 10-15 minutes tops.

Good thought. That was what I was thinking too. Too much depth with the D and I think the coaching staff needs to show him what he did right and wrong and let that sink in for a game or two.

Don't think that Babs can keep him out of the lineup with his play tonight. Very impressive for his first game in the NHL.

If Nick had decided to play for this shortened season, this would be a done deal. I couldn't imagine any rookie not signing with the Wings if they could play/learn with him.... Any chance that Nick could come back????

Chiming in late ... I guess that my brain isn't processing what happened in this game. OK .. I knew that the D wasn't going to be all that good, but I was hoping that the depth in the forwards and goal tending would make up for that. OK .. It's just one game OK .. It's just one game Crap ... I have been watching the Wings since the 94-95 season and I have watched at the least 95% of the Wings games since the 2000-2001 season. I have never watched a game in where the Wings were completely dominated for probably 57 minutes of the game. That was completely pathetic. The Wings had no business on that ice.

After watching this game I am really looking forward to seeing the Dats,Z,Brunner line. I think that they are really going to tear it up. They may need to with the D the Wings are fielding. Can't wait for Saturday. Crap, I hit 1000 posts on this thread, that only took over 10 years on this board.

Wow, it's been a long time since I have posted here. All that I am going to say is that I stopped reading on this forum because of the lockout thread, of which the mods finally locked down, that thread really left a bad taste; no matter what the outcome comes to be. Having fun reading this thread though. Almost like a FA thread with a few unknowns still hanging out there.

I've been watching/reading this thread too long. Two weeks of the regular season are gone now. I think that many of you will agree that is time to walk away now. I'm sick of the drama. Go play in the KHL and all of the other leagues. Have fun traveling on those Russian jetliners.

Agreed. Is there any way that Lids could be talked into coming back for one more year after seeing how the Wings failed to obtain a top 2 D? I know that Chelios could help with Smith's develpment, but being paired with Lids would be way more beneficial. I may be stocking more beer in the cooler than usual if the Wings can't grab another decent D before the season starts.
