Smith did better than expected. Lids made a few mistakes but still recovered from them. If the Wings can grab 4 points off the next 2 games, that would be good. At the least, we don't have to watch a late game this weekend.

I only watched the 1st but thought that Philly shoud have gotten a delay of game for doing that a second time.

Maybe the Wings deserved some of those calls; but I can I honestly say that was one of the worst games ever called. Babs and Holland (not that they really can) should be calling out for the refs heads in this game.

This will be a benchmark game for both teams. Not too many teans go up undefeated this time of the year. GO WINGS!!

A pretty much solid 3 periods from the Wings. 2 goals on 2 bad giveaways put them down 0-2 but they pretty much carried most of the play for a majority of the game. Was it me or was Homer picking out his ear wax out to smooth down his sideburns in the post game interview?

The Wings are fortunate to be 3-0 considering that they are 0-16 on the PP after this game. Good game though. Kindle continues to impress me.

So after being a Wings fan for 20 years now, I finally "adopted" a second team last season to follow which is the Bolts. As much as I would like to see the Wings go to the east, not so much into the SE division. Either a complete realignment of the league in which the Wings are in the same division as the Leafs and Pens (there is more of a rivalry between those two teams right now than above anybody else in the West), or do the simple and most logical move by putting the Preds in the SE.

And the back to back games had nothing to do with that?

Wow. I was so happy when the Wings signed Conks as the BU. Besides Kindle's bonehead play in the !st that Flips took care of, I am really getting excited about this season. Have to say that I impressed how the Avs played. Young team with a lot of energy. Dats still amazes me of what he does every game. Gotta wait 5 days for the next game though.

Watched the 1st of the Flyers/Bruins game and then had to watch the Tiger's game. Now I know how to fall asleep easier.

Helm was just a beast tonight. Easily the most dominate player on the ice. Looks like his hands are improving too. He just needs to start finishing on all of those break aways that he has.

Sweet!! I wonder if it is going to be the feed from the Joe Vision. I remember they did that for a preseason game last season.
