Well that pretty much seals it for Pierre... If you doubted his IQ or homerism for all things hockey Canada, this little gem quickly dissolves it... Would he have said that if Toews had scored a goal like that to break the tie? Not in a million years would he suggest the wind "pushed him through the defence" That is the most absurd example of unprofessional sports reporting I've ever heard.

The article on the NHL website said he may have engaged in "blood doping" without elaboration. Steroids were not specifically mentioned. As their may be legal action due to negligence of the medical response to his collapse, the accusation of doping is very vague and questionable at this point. Even if it is true it's only of very tangential relevance to his death anyway; the pre-existing heart condition and reports of a poor medical response are what really matter.

Well said. It was a goal. Crosby is justly criticized for being whiny because he is. but when it becomes blind hate, you clearly have bias creeping in.

A little bit of a hangover is a small price to pay for celebrating the Wings spanking the Sharks! I felt that the Wings have a few extra gears at their disposal when the stakes are high but I was starting to despair for our team... F'ing A!
