Wings in 7 This won't be easy but I think we can pull it out. Obviously, If you take a look at that roster, SJ looks great and pretty damn big. Those guys are gonna drive to the net and give us fits. Hasek is pissed about letting in 9 goals that game--their bench looked like one of those repetitive video-clip avatars of the guys skating back to slap gloves after another pp goal (shouldn't give their fans any ideas). But Dom will be ready he's gonna need plenty of goal support and lots 5 on 5. If we can stay out the box, we'll do fine. Hopefully, Babcock will put Bert on the 1st pp unit until Homer's back. I'd love to see what those guys can do. Go Wings!

You're right, this game out there was done very well... and it's about time!

That and we've had Dallas and Turco's number for a long while, as opposed to our experience with the Sharks. People connected to the team are loathe to admit it but they'll definitely have their Dallas jerseys on tonight!

Flames looked so ******* bush league with their "captain" spearing guys when they lose. The Wings have outscored them 12-3 at home and they have squeaked out one goal wins at home with help from the refs. Flames suck.

Haven't read thru the thread (by the title, no wonder) Lebda twisted his knee going for the hip check and he's done. So, the really interesting question is who replaces him... Now that I've had time to re-watch the last game, I 've come to better appreciate how truly lucky and dependent on Kipprasoft, and the stripers, the Flames were to square this series. Wings win handily. I'll be there in section 106 screamin' my ass off. Zetterberg and Datsyuk destroy...

That's a damn good question. Not even on the pp. Bertuzzi is just what that line needs--he would give them some time and space with his size and he has the hands to hang with those guys. What the hell Babcock? Apologize to Homer, take him out to dinner and put him on line #3 or 4. Bert would be absolutely thrilled to play with them and would put in an inspired game. For all of his size and strength, I think Bertuzzi loves the skilled-type of game most. Even us internet hacks can see that line needs Bertuzzi, if not Bert then Franzen.

Babcock is too thick-skulled. He won't make an adjustment until it's too late, just like last year. Bert/Hank/Pavel on the pp when we need a goal badly. Why the hell not? I think Bert would be inspired to play with them and would give them what they are currently being denied--a bit of time and space.

The refs will see to it that the Wings don't get much going--meanwhile they owe us a 5on3 or two...

I just wanted to put this out there: I know that the Michigan (and Windsor!) economy has seen better days, and I know that some fans may have been put off by the corporate-first mentality of selling the Wings' lower bowl seats, but I hope we can do our best to support our team by showing up for the rest of the Wings' home playoff games. I am just so proud of this area and how this team has come out and played with grit and is doing their very best to show the rest of the league that they aren't all flash and no substance. When they signed Datsyuk for a long contract, they showed us that they want entertaining, skilled hockey at their barn for a long time and I'm all for it... Hank will sign for long term next... All of you Michigan, Ohio and Ontario Wings fans c'mon! and those of you from beyond that can do it too! Buy your playoff tickets and support our guys. I'll be the guy in the home jersey in Section 106 with 'dicksmack' on the back! Go Wings!
