FSN is talking about the quality of the ice at the Joe. It's true, my minor hockey league championship games used to be play there and the ice is like wax--when you turn sharp the ice cuts perfectly. It's a fact!(disregard my sig for this post pls...)

Having the tacit endorsement from guys like Yzerman would do Bertuzzi's image some good. Too bad Bertuzzi has no say. If he's ready to go, like soon, he might be in good enough shape to make a difference. Imagine after dealing with Holmstrom on the pp in front of the net, Bertuzzi takes his place for the second unit.

But hell if you have Luongo back there to nullify the giveaways, the additional scoring threat from Sopel makes sense. Scoring will be the Nucks' challenge.

Defensive liability. I've never seen a guy commit so many turnovers. He's a philanthropist, basically. All he has to offer is as a pointman. Good shot and likes to sneak in.
