Well if Lebda isn't ready to go for game 6 then the real question should be: Do you trust Meech, a guy that hasn't played much with the team and is more or less as good as Quincey or do you convert a forward into a d-man ala Federov? I would be in favor of maybe putting Maltby on defense since he is an awesome penalty killer but then again we would be sacrificing his offensive zone play. The better bet would be Meech.

I would love to see Flip get a couple of goals tomorrow. He and Cleary have been the hardest working Wings thus far.

Joe Pavelski would be my guess since he was a healthy scratch last game

Try all of the penalties, i.e. hooking, tripping. That usually works for me.

Honestly, I haven't really seen anything I like in Bert thus far in the playoffs. He looks a bit disorientated and he floats around a lot. I would like to see either Sammy or Huds on the top line with Dats and Zetts. And, might I add, any line with Cleary is awesome. The guy just is plain awesome!!

You know it makes me a bit angry that teams like Buffalo don't have to travel as much as the Red Wings. What a burden the Wings have in traveling to Calgary in the first round, San Jose in the second round, and possibly Vancouver or Anaheim in the third round. All these arenas are on the far west coast or Canada. All the Sabres have to do is basically step outside their arena into their opponents' arena right next door. It must be nice to play in your home state for 2 straight rounds and if the Sabres and the Devils win, a one state trek in the finals. I honestly believe that the long treks have to come into play the further you go in the playoffs. More fatigue, less sleep, and sicknesses which may lead to more injuries. I know we may never see the Eastern Conference because Nashville is more east than Detroit but it's something the league should look into. Anybody else feel this way??

I have always called Chelios, Dr. Chelios. The way he makes plays in the defensive end is like watching a surgeon perform.

Lids is definitely the man. He should get the Norris hands down!

I think Quincey will do alright. But he needs to play more physical than what I have seen from him. He will get paired with Chelios no doubt.

What really sucks about the game is that they won't let people trade with every card gotten to trade with people that need some cards. I'll see what I can do though.

Well, it all started back when I was in 7th grade..... I went to my first hockey game between the Capitals and the Red Wings at the tender age of 12. I believe back then they called it "NHL Night" at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, because living here in Wisconsin, we don't have an NHL team. I'm not sure if it was just an exhibition game or an actual regular season game at the time and they don't have them anymore which is a shame. Anyways, as I sat in awe in the fantastic display of the newly learned sport, there was one player that instantly caught my devoted attention. That player was none other than Steve Yzerman. The moves, the leadership, the flat out awesomeness of #19 was one of the greatest sports memories I hold dear to this day. And ever since then I have had a strong passion for hockey and became a lifetime fan of the Detroit Red Wings. NOW LETS GO GET THIS CUP!!!!
