Hey I think we should be cheering for the Preds in this one guys. Do any of us REALLY believe the Wings have a better chance against Calgary in the first round that we do against the Wild? Myself, I'm pulling for a 4th place finish this year. Let the Flames pound the Preds in a seven game series. What's the obsession you have with this guy? I watched him in Junior with the Wheat Kings for years and believe me he was nothing special back then and hasn't done anything since to make me believe he's changed all that much. Maybe you're related to him or something? But seriously, why do you want him to play for the Wings so badly?

Aflac; great job on those GDT's. After looking at other forums around the net.. your's are always hands down - the best. I just hope we match their physical play tonight... a good test for playoff style hockey for sure.

So I was thinking... why not keep that line together for the playoffs? I mean they're clicking, there's some size, scoring, grit there right? Let's create a third line with Franzen, Flip and Bert and leave the Lang line alone. That would hopefully give us 3 good lines that can score going into the playoffs.

I feel the same way boys... not afraid to admit the man-love here either, lol I remember how I used to feel when the Wings were on TV, but Stevie wasn't in the line up... i'm starting to feel the same when Z's not there. He WAS the best player in the league at the time of his injury. I have Center Ice, I watch Crosby and the other superstars too. The only one who came close to bringing what Z brought every game was St. Louis; that little guy can flat out fly and tries just as hard as Z on every shift too. The key to the Cup isn't Bert or Dats... it's Z.

I've never even seen the guy fight... let alone hold his own in a scrap. Do you have any links/ivids/stats as to his pugilistic proweress? He's a good PK guy, can throw the odd check, probably a good locker room, "glue" guy too from what I've read about him. I'm not sure I would resign him for next year though. With some of the younger/cheaper guys on the way I don't know if we have room for him on the roster.

Honestly, I can handle the homerism... after all it is the other team's announcers. What I can't seem to stomach is the large amount of marbles their play by play guy seems to have in his mouth as he's attempting to call the game. Why does "Radulov" sound like "wadruoff"? Datsyuk is Dotsweuk when he trys to say it... half the time I have no idea who he's even talking about. I know it's a southern Nashville accent, but for goodness sakes! If he's going to make a living by talking then someone has to teach him what "enunciate" means. It's an embarrasment to the NHL.
