Huge game, no doubt. I watched game 3 over again last night...man are the Sharks good. Whomever wins the series has to be considered a favorite to win the cup. 4 more hours...damn the butterflies LET'S GO RED WINGS .. ... LET'S GO RED WINGS .. ... LET'S GO RED WINGS .. ...

Let's face it folks...the Sharks are very good. There shot blocking is unreal, they are very responsible at both ends, and they have a lot of talent. This is the playoffs...if you thought it was going to be easy you must be new to the sport. Even though we are down I don't feel like we're out. It's been 3 1-goal games. If the Wings play their game for a full 60 minutes (no small task against such a quality opponent) it's back to a best of 3 with 2 games at JLA. Seems early but I guess it's time already... Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

Thorton was a man among boys again last night....you have to tip your cap. But this is no place to bring Stevie Y's career up. The tallent level may be nearly equal but they play(ed) completely different styles. Please continue the props for Thorton but leave Stevie and his legacy out of the conversation.

It makes me sad too. After college I had to leave MI. It's just too bad about the economy. I miss MI, even the lake effect snow at times. I was watching the end of game 6 again last night and I noticed something. As the Wings go through the line for the traditional handshake take a look at Calder. He's last in the line up. Everyone else on the Wings shakes hands using their right hand. Calder leaves his right glove on and reaches across his body shaking hands with his left in a very awkward motion. Got me thinking... did he miss game 5 due to a hand injury? The Wings may not say anything about it since it is play-off time. or was it a subtle way of not shaking the Flames hands due to a lack of respect? I'll try to get a pic up of him using his left hand.

Keep in mind game 6 was 4.25 periods long. If you do the math played about 11 minutes in regulation. The good news is he played a fair amount in OT.

He just doesn't seem like the guy you scratch for the heck of it. Did the Wings ever say anything about why he was scratched?

I tried reading through all 5 pages....forgive me if I missed the answer to my question.... For Center Ice people not in Metro Detroit (or MI).... Since it's the second game of the night in versus...Do we run the risk of joining the game in progress? And if so can I get the CBC or FSND feed on Center Ice???? Thus far I have been forced to watch on NBC or Versus as my CI has not picked up a CBC or FSND feed for this series. As many others have stated....It's play-off time, we won't know until warm-ups. On that note I'm listing myself as questionable/doubtful for my game this week due to the potential time conflict with the Wings game.
