I'll get presents on Sunday. And I already got one from my Christmas party at work. And I've gotten a few Christmas cards.

We're getting flurries

Yeah...A couple people have told me that. Some coworkers even told me to call in. But...I don't know. I don't want to screw over my coworkers or end up getting fired for calling in when I didn't really need to.

I have a problem. I got scheduled to work on Sunday the 23rd when I asked for the day off. I'm supposed to be in Grand Rapids by 3PM for a Christmas party at my grandma's. I haven't had a Christmas with her in 3-4 years and I know she really wants to see me. However, my hotel will be packed full next weekend for a wrestling tournament. If I 'call in sick' and leave to go see my family, I'll be leaving my co-workers short handed on a busy day. So who should I bail on? My family or my work?
