It's about a book I had to read for one of my classes. I have to explain the pros and cons of rote learning (learning by memorization or without comprehension) and provide examples from the book. I can't really find any good examples though.

I wouldn't worry too much about it yet. It's still very early in the season and I think most teams are probably still trying to find their game. Heck the Wings lost to the Blackhawks the other day and I'm not worried about it (although other people seem to think it's Doomsday and we'll never make the playoffs now... ). You can't go 82-0. If we're 20-30 games into the season and you have more losses than wins, then I'd start getting worried. But right now just enjoy that hockey's back.
