-I kinda like the league awarding more points for a regulation victory, but I'm more concerned about still awarding points for an overtime loss. I abolustely hate that. -I agree. I don't like the no-touch icing. Makes the game boring. (College game). -I doubt anything will happen with overfreezing the puck.

The problem is, the player might be OK with this because he likes participating in playoff runs.

Ok. Tonight is the first time I've been able to see this "great goaltender" MacDonald. Many people on this forum cannot wait until he is the full time Wing's starter. I can. Unless you like goalies that could lead the NBA in rebounds, he isn't very good. This is the 2nd time he's given up 3 goals in the 3rd period. Stay in the AHL. I don't want to see him in a Wing's uniform. Edit: Ok, I'm sorry. 4 goals in the 3rd period. Edit: My bad. 5 goals in the 3rd period.

I was not blaming him for the loss at all. The team was no help and did not show up in the 3rd period at all. However, giving up a rebound on every shot is ridiculous. I understand the game, thanks. What facts? I was correct in him giving up 5 goals in one period. It may be wise to be concerned. It was only 1 period out of 3, after all. Oh wait, it was 5 goals.

I hadn't seen that photo! I went on a date tonight, and we were ice skating and my date mentioned she saw a photo where a 'hockey player' made a hit, and the other guy's skate came up and hit him in the face. I hadn't seen it. The good news is, now I know she watches Red Wing games!

Last year nobody expected Edmonton to beat us, let alone make it to the Cup Finals. They can't get complacent. The Wings have a bad habit of doing that. -

I think that all of this proves Bettman's expansion plan has completely backfired. Clearly, the NHL did not do their research before just putting NHL franchises in cities. Nashville is currently the best team in the league, and still can't sell out. That's not good.
