But to give some credit to Chicago, Chelios was 37 at the time. They figured he was washed up and had maybe a year or two left. Eriksson was young and had some potential. My Dad and I joke that every time the Wings go play Chicago, Chelios probably makes his way up to the Blackhawk front office, lightly knocks on the door and says "hey guys. Just wanted to let you know I'm still playing. Look forward to seeing your guys on the ice tonight " Edit: Double post, sorry.

I'm not sure which is worse. Lilja turning it over at the blue line or Samuelsson shooting it from the blue line.

I'm not suprised that he's used him. It's pretty rare for a guys first two games with a team that both of them go to a shootout. Especially with Zetterberg being sidelined, I don't find it suprising at all that he has used Bertuzzi.

A few years ago I asked for an Yzerman jersey for Christmas. What I got was an iron on t-shirt jersey with Yzerman's name. Didn't exactly make my day. But I do have a white Fedorov jersey and a white Chelios from his Blackhawk days. I also have a white Konstantinov that Murphy got signed by everyone for me. Because that one is signed, I bought another white Konstantinov. I really want a real replica Yzerman one. I'm also considering Lidstrom and Datsyuk (if he re-signs)

My honest opinion is that we will lose in the 2nd round. If we are lucky and stumble through the 2nd round but come out alive, we would go down in the Western Conference Finals. -
Agreed. Bring in someone younger that's more solid for less money.
