I noticed that, too. It was so obvious that he knocked the goal off, he should have been given an additional penalty (in addition to the one he didn't receive) for bad acting. As soon as it happened I was like "Delay of Game!" and then, during the replay, I noticed the Stars still had the puck!

Reasons I'm still dreading this series: Although the Wings are tougher than they have been, I still think San Jose is stronger. They are a faster team than the Wings They are a much younger team than the Wings, which normally means they are hungrier to win now rather than later. Half of the Wings lineup has won a Stanley Cup before. I agree. I think that Lidstrom will be assigned to Thorton like he was assigned to Iginla. That's a good point. However, they also want to send a stiff message that this is not going to be tolerated. Wait, they need to do that for both!

He's one of the few players that we know plays to play and not for the money. He gives his all every shift.

I lived in Brighton until I was 7, too. My dad spent his entire life in Michigan until we moved to Chicago, so I was born and raised on Red Wing hockey.

Maybe that's what it means in the athlete world, but not in Steve's world. Take Steve's word for what it is. He's not a selfish guy who thinks he could singlehandedly help net a few more goals. He doesn't want to be. He's accepted that he's done playing, and he's satisfied that he did it the right way. The only way he knew how.

And, honestly, I think he really looked it tonight. It's not Doom-ful if it's not intimidating.

I don't think the man's goal was to change Ken's mind. His goal was to simply tell him how he felt about the guy. Let him see the other side of the argument.

Even if he has a not-so-good playoffs, he's still one of my favorites.
