It was. He saw him coming and made zero effort to move. It also looked like he leaned his knee into it. Furthermore, he seemed to walk off without pain, the true sign of it being intentional.

I'm not sure. You bring up a good point with fresh proven playoff vs. tired Kipper - however, Kipper would still have an advantage. He knows the tempo of the series by playing the previous games. It would take Osgood a little while to catch up and get used to the tempo and way the series is going. I would say play Dom to avoid a rusty Osgood in the 1st period, during which they could net 3 goals.

Honestly, I disagree. In general, great players do not always make great (or even good) coaches. Decent players, who sometimes have their playing career cut short, usually make the best coaches (Bowman).

Honestly, I don't blame them for their smack talk. We have a lot to prove this year. We got our ass' handed to us by them in '04, and didn't exactly do much against Edmonton last year.

Actually, I see where they're coming from. Why should HNIC have to air the New Jersey vs. Lightning series? That's not fair at all. Without HNIC, the NHL would be nothing in Canada.

I see where your coming from by not being worth it. However, this girl is definitely worth every ounce of effort I've put into it (which has been more than usual since she's transferring to OSU next year and I am a diehard Michigan fan). I don't want to give her any reason to stop talking to me. I sadly think I am going to have to withdraw from the playoff beard trend this season in the best interest of my love life, which has become more pathetic than the Blackhawks.

I wouldn't say the Avs failed this year, they only missed the playoffs by one point.

We have more leadership this year? I'm not sure I agree with that. Furthermore, I would pick the Devils over Atlanta. Atlanta is a young team with no playoff experience. The Devils are experienced and can handle the pressure. And, defense wins championships more often than not.
