it's just an opinion, but i disagree. crosby's vision is amazing, z is great, but crosby i think sees the game on another level than anybody except maybe lidstrom. and he's only 20. if you think about it, he's probably 6 or 7 years away from his prime. if z's only roll was offense, like crosby's is, he'd put up huge numbers, no doubt. but imo, as far as raw talent is concerned, crosby gets the nod and he'll only get better.

no chance. for one, he's not canadian. secondly, while i think he has a better rounded game at this point (z that is), crosby (imo) is cleary a more gifted offensive player, and he's only twenty. i'm not fond of crosby's attitude, but really, skill wise, the sky is the limit for this kid. crosbys style will always garner more attention than z's two way monstrosity.

just imagine if z is healthy all year. before he got hurt last year his production was unreal (not that it wasn't great when he came back, but it seemed to slow him down a bit).

okay, i'm going to abandon the positivity for a post and agree with you. i'm so tired of crosby and this team right on up to their coach. they whine endlessly! it's gotten old very quickly. just shut up and play. another way crosby excels like gretz, they are unbelievable whiners.

i never post in these threads, but i'm trying to be more possitive and change my attitude, so here goes... like everybody says, a loss was bound to happen and i thought they ended the game well and maybe gave themselves something to build off of in game four. . i think we saw tonight, for the first time, really, how dangerous this pens offense can be, so obviously the defensive zone turnovers need to stop. i think zetterberg was trying to do everything on his own tonight, and he needs to simplify and get his linemates involved. everybdoy looked a little scared, but all of this is correctable and i think next game will be a different story. i'd rather win the cup at the joe anyhow!!!

as great of a player as datsyuk is, i don't know how good of a captian he would be. zetterberg is much better suited for that role.

dominant performance by the wings tonight! great game. this targeting homer s*** is getting very annoying. it's bulls***. anyway, i'll take three more games like that@!

this one's for hockeycrazy3033: i'm confident the wings will take game five. and with healthy franzen (assuming he resumes his recent dominance or close to it) i'm confident we'll take the pens in six.

i'm just pissed, that's all. i don't take losing well!! never have. but the fact is that sammy, cleary, and flip have done nothing this series with franzen out. they need to step it up.

without a hot franzen, we are once again a one line team. jesus, datsyuk and zetterberg can't do everything out there. datsyuk had one, arguably two goals tonight and zetterberg had one. the rest of the team... a big fat 0. filppula and sammy and cleary need to step up their games big time.

i think a lot of wings fans are underestimating this pens squad. they've really come together as a team and have more offensive punch in their top two lines than we do. our defense is better, but the pens are playing excellent d right now. i'm scared of them. i think it'll be a good series and an exciting one for hockey. you'll get the most popular team in the nhl against the most popular player. i don't want to get ahead of myself, though, the wings still have a game to win in this series. let's hope we put dallas out of their misery tomorrow.
