i fi-ing hate the nhl network!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was waiting all day to watch this game, and i get home from work, and it's nowhere on tv. this is such bulls***!

makes sense to me. dom had a good game tuesday, it's best to get him right back out there so he can start to establish some sort of rhythm.

datsyuk, although playing well this year otherwise, has been next to horrible in the goal scoring departement. his shooting % is below 5%, he's shooting more than ever (he's on pace for about a 100 more sog's than his career best last year at 204 sog's), and is on pace for about half of what he's scored the last three seasons. it's early, i know, but something seems to be wrong with his shot. he's normally got such a strong accurate wrister and this year he's continously missing the target, moreso than he ever has in his career as a wing. and in tight situations around the goal where he's usually money for the back of the net, he's fumbling around and not getting the puck up, or missing the net entirely. i wonder if it's just a matter of confidence, or if he's got a minor nagging injury, maybe a wrist thing, or what?

good game. wings are still playing very sloppy, though. i don't know what the deal is. btw i hate the flames, i'm so sick of iginla.

our pp looks pretty bad. what is with all these turnovers?

they have, i'm certainly not complaining about that. it's just disappointing losing ground like this against central teams especially when the wings aren't giving it all they have.

we play 32 games against the central. it's important we do well.

i guess, if you're perspective is that the wings don't need to win in the central, then i definitely don't share your perspective.

i wish i shared you're attitude. holiday's are no excuse. they had thanksgiving in columbus as well. simple fact is that wings don't feel they need their a game in the central and they seem to be exceptionally slow getting the message that they absolutely do.

rafalski needs to learn how to keep the f-ing puck in at the point, that's the problem. i really want to like him, but seriously, how many times is this guy gonna cough the puck up on the pp? it's no wonder the wings have the most shorties scored against them.

i don't know what the hell z was doing. oh well, wings put themselves in the position of having to win in a shootout, they deserve what they got.

really? considering the wings played only one period tonight i'm pretty disappointed. i hope babs brings down the hammer, this is really getting old. the central absolutely owns us, it's sad.

they're out playing us. wings are extremely lucky to be back in this. lets hope they get their heads out of their asses and redeem themselves.

not really. lidstrom had one off the post (i think it was lids) but that's about it. mostly they look pretty indifferent to me.

we look pretty lazy out there. this sucks to watch. i don't know how this team can go from being so dominant the first 16 games of the season and then pretty much completely fall apart. the swings on this team are huge.

correction: dom used to be too good of a goalie not to rebound. that remains to be seen this year. he's been lousy all year. maybe his age has caught up to him. as for ozzie not being spectacular... 11 games started, 10 wins (tied for 5th in league), 1 shutout, .930 save% (5th in league), 1.65 GAA (2nd in league). pretty spectacular numbers if you ask me. now dom's alwasy scared the s*** out of me the way he plays, but when he's winning games, i don't mind. he's not winning games. his snow angel has maybe done all it can for him, he just looks out of place out there this year. i don't like. i don't like osgood better than dom or vice versa, but osgood clearly deserves to be the starter at this point.

so the wings have dropped 5 of their last 7. all to the central. this is pretty sad. how do you go from winning nine in a row to losing 5 of seven?

doesn't sound like it was pretty. but it's nice to be winning again.

i'm so glad i couldn't watch this game. i love the nhln and the nhl and bettman.
