well, i was at work, so i missed most of the game, but i'm pretty damn happy about the reults!!! let's finish this on monday!! GO WINGS!!!! i hope schneider's okay. espn says it's his forearm, no details.

it was a great play and pass by filppula. but anytime lang scores, especially a clutch goal like that, it's going to be more talked about than the play that set it up. we're just not used to lang scoring this year. it always catches us by surprise.

yeah, this has been a great series so far. i'm anticipating a thrilling finale. hopefully with the winged wheel still rolling. hmmm... interesting. it'd have to be during intermission.

it ain't over til it's over. but a win saturday would definitely be big. they split in detroit and we split there. now we have the momentum and home ice advantage, i have to say, i'm getting strangely optimistic. well said. yeah, hockey's an unbelievable sport. this game couldn't have been scripted any better. amazing how these things play out sometimes. that's why i love hockey.

the versus guys mentioned homer flexing his leg before he went to the locker room, too. but then they said he skated "hard" to the bench during the break when he went down to the locker room. if he was skating hard to the bench it would seems it's an equipment issue and not an injury. i don't know. and i hate not knowing. especially at 1:30 in the morning.

yeah, i'd been cursing at him all night, too. looks like i finally got to him. after he scored, i was like, "okay, i believe in you bobby" it was definitely nice to have him back. let's just hope he's not hurt.

yeah, i love franzen. he's a monster out there. zetterberg played pretty badly tonight, though. i'm still waiting for him to have a huge game. i can't believe nobody's heard about homer. man, the wings just can't catch a break with injuries.

yeah, the thronton-lidstrom battle has definitely been won by thornton so far.

thornton is incredible. one of the most dominating forces in hockey for sure. he is nearly impossible to knock off the puck and add to that his uncanny ability to find the open man (vision, pristine passing, etc.) and you get what is called the real deal, or, if you'd prefer, the complete package. in all serious, he's probably the best player in hockey. at least top three.
