it is evident in every replay they showed on that play that maltby was checked into kiprusoff by one of his own players. that was a bs call. clearly a goal.

i didn't see kiprusoff run once this whole game. your team needs to grow up. they're like a bunch of really big junior high kids.

i think the flames picked their game up more than the wings lowered theirs. once the flames started forechecking hard the wings fell apart. the flames were conservative the first two games and didn't forecheck hard. these last two games we can't get into the zone and calgary has us on our heels. it's painful to watch. i'm not feeling very confident. it's a little too reminiscent of edmonton last year and clagary the season before and the ducks before them. AHHHHH!!!!!!!! and what the hell is lidstrom's problem??? he's been bad the the last two games.

i agree. the wings have had plenty of pps this series to get something done. both our pp and pk look terrible. that will be the difference in this series. if the wings don't get their special teams on track we are in a world of hurt.

i'd say the key words for tomorrow's game would be power and play and penalty and kill. our special teams have been horrendous (not that they were that great during the regular season). i didn't think we played a terrible game tuesday, we looked nervous, but played decently, the difference was the special teams. our pp sucked and our pk sucked. that needs to change. now that calgary seems to have found their energy and motivation, i think special team will decide this series. let's go wings!!!!!!!!!!!! that is awesome. i want that poster.

it's pretty evident that that wasn't intentional. kipper was way out of his crease and even stuck his leg out. cleary didn't see him til the last instant.

great game by the wings. they got the puck in deep and had many, many quality scoring chances. they played physically and just looked damn good. they actually look hungry for a change. we better be ready for game two, though. calgary is going to come out hard. even though the wings played great tonight, part of it was the piss poor calgary play. they looked uninspired and didn't get too involved other than trying to fight our 180 pound stars. iginla gets on my nerves. they were just acting like babies out there. what sore losers. that said, i think game two will be a different game. let's hope the wings can come with the same intensity and grit!! on a side note, what the f*ck is sammy doing on the poin for the pp??? sometimes babcock just doesn't have a clue. also, i'm just plain embarrassed that the joe didn't sell out. that's just sad. this is hockey town??? i don't know what to say about that.
