i don't understand why gm's are willing to throw this much at rental players. these prices are ridiculous! well, obvioulsy this doesn't bode well for detroit aquiring anybody noteworthy. holland would never (and shouldn't) drop that much on a ktachuk. maybe they'll gamble on bert. i can't imagine he's costing much at all as teams won't even have the chance to see him play before tuesday. * spelling -

that's lang in a nutshell, lazily and aimlessly waiving his stick around. i wonder if he smokes up between shifts. somebody should look for a bag of half-eaten cheetos or little debbie wrappers on the bench.

the thing about williams is that he's not expected to be a force. lang is. not to excuse william's play, it sucks but lang is falling even shorter of his expectations and pulling even less weight i'm afraid.

i loved the game. i was pissed as hell when the lost, but it was a great game. i just loved the effort. it was obvious the wings came to play. i haven't seen them this physical yet this year. it's very strange to see them beating up on another team.

no, cuz we're a very small, and a relatively slow team. san jose's style of play fares against us very well. other teams match up better against them. not that we're not a good team. we definitely are. obvioulsy at this point we're one of the best. but i don't like our chances against the sharks. not that they're necessarily that much better than us, if at all, it's that they match up against us very well.

i agree. he had so much jump after babcock put him with draper last night. i think lang's sucked the life out of him. i think lang's a life-sucker, i think he's a vampire. seriously :whoa:

we haven't exactly fared too well against sj this year. they may be too big and fast for us. i definitely don't want to face them, especially in the first round. it's absolute nonsense not trying to win our division. the wings will try to win the division.

i bet it's his ribs. he took a stick to the ribs last night ( i think in the 3rd) and was clearly hurt and doubled over afterwards.

i absolutely agree. he is a cancer on his line. the worst part of it all is that he's the third highest paid player on the team and the second of the forwards. every time he has the puck i just wince, every time he's gliding to possition in our zone i shed a tear. every time he watches a pass slide right by him i..., well, you get the point.

at least the wings brought it tonight. it was a great game and they had a lot of jump. it's nice to know they can get up for the big games. i hate losing in ot, it's so final!
