i'm not sure how people can think this team is built for a long playoff run. we got our asses handed to us last year beacuse we are too soft and we're even softer this year. holland was supposed to get this team ready for the playoffs last off season and didn't. he said, it's okay, we have room to make a move at the deadline, and i'm guessing nothing significant is coming then. this team, as is, won't get far, mark my words (if i'm wrong, i'll be the first to admit it but i don't think i am) hence the frustration in our gm. same story, different year.

forsberg isn't really what this team needed anyway (though he would have helped, no doubt), but him going to the preds sucks. that team is going to be scary. but remember the pepse six pack, they couldn't do anything, so here's hoping.

damn, the preds are stacked! holland better get off his ass. i can't wait for another cory cross, "well, at the end of the day, that's all we feel we needed, we like our chances..."

that's a lot of future to be giving up for somebody who's basically a rental. the wing's won't be able to sign him in the off season. (not to mention his injurty problems)

i'm tired of that line too. why doesn't babs give flip and hudler 2nd line minutes? lang's line has been more of a liability than an asset of late.
