i'm with ya. everytime oln comes back from a comercial break it's choppy for like 5 minutes. i think nhl on oln is really secretly some elementary school class project somewhere in the white frozen wastelands of saskatchewan.

oln sucks.

hurricanes are next. this month is scary. carolina, nashville twice, the avs, flyers, who else? we'll be lucky make it out of january alive. hopfully this asswhooping we took tonight will get it out of our system cuz this month could sink us if we don't play well and nashville does.

espn's got it as 23 shots against osgood and 9 against manny for a total of 32 shots for the game.

well, he let 6 goals in on 23 shots (i think)...

lol. babs failed to tell the guys they have to play the rest of the game after starting well. silly babs. doesn't he know these guys need to be spoon-fed this kind of info.

well, after a 3-0 start, we fell 6-3.

wings have the best pp in hockey right now. you know what our % is? 25%. second place is 22%. 25% is a very good percentage.

Damn no-good bastards must have paid someone off for those 28 wins then. peace well, the gods of hockey blessed their division with the collective hockey talents of cbj, st. louis, and chi-town. hmm. the penguins would look good in this division.

we are a very generous team! we were too busy giving them away. i'm in awe of our generosity. i'm humbled. this is the season of giving, you know.

2 for 8 is good. 25%. of course it's not quite as good as 3-5... bottom line, teams that skate hard and play physically will beat the wings. a team that back checks will have no problem keep us out of they're zone. a team that skates hard to loose pucks will have no problem getting them, a team that is rough along the boards will have no trouble controlling them, and a team that fore checks well will have no trouble gaining our zone. the wings are soft and they refuse to play a complete game. they refuse to work hard for sixty minutes and they don't have anybody power through anything.

it seems the wings either come out strong and give up, or come out lazy and try to play catch up. they very rarely play a complete game.

wings have bennefitted more than most from these questionable calls. wings can hardly score five on five, but we have the best pp in hockey. without these questionable calls and our powerplay goals we wouldn't fare as well against anybody.

you're right. wings played really well. osgood was unstoppable. great effort all around. it was the refs. they have it in for us. all those questionable calls for detroit in the first were to throw people off their trail. dallas didn't deserve this win. they didn't out shoot us 20 to 10 after the first period or whatever it was. they didn't out play us and hold us to the neutral zone for the last two thirds of the game. it was the refs.

detroit needs to play through that. it's not the refs fault.

was it really necessary for ken and the boys to go on and on and on about how dallas hasn't beaten us in nine games, etc. etc. etc. in the pregame show? that was the whole pregame show.

When will it EVER be Osgoods fault? Thats MY argument. lol. amen.

wings haven't been good coming back when down in the third. they've clearly given up tonight.
