    Post-GAME 6: 4/21 Red Wings 2, Flames 1 (2OT)

Cudos to the Wings, they dominated us all series long. When you get outshot 255-129 over six games, its impossble to win, even with Miika between the pipes. Congrats Wings and their fans, the better team clearly one this round. Good luck in round 2.

Time warp: 2001, wings lose in 6, give up 2-0 lead

Your post would lead me to believe you have only followed this series thru the media, and not by watching for yourself. You sound like a pessimist ....what ever happened to being a fan thru thick and thin?

    Pre-GAME 4: (4/19) Red Wings @ Flames - 9:30 PM EDT

No offense taken, voicing opinions are why we are here! Say what you will about Lidstroms coverage on Iginla so far, but he can't always be on the ice when Jarome is, especially on home ice. With 4 of the Flames 5 goals on the PP in this series, Iginla will be able to find some open ice out there eventually. Go Flames Go!

    Pre-GAME 4: (4/19) Red Wings @ Flames - 9:30 PM EDT

Flames take this one in overtime, 2-1. Calgary continues to get better and play a strong home game. Detroit plays well, as usual, but comes up short on the road again. CGY - Iginla (2) DET - Cleary

    Flames Vs. Detroit Game 3

if you want to get technical about it.....a chiming alarm does not mean evacuate, its the solid bell that means 'get the hell out!'

    Flames Vs. Detroit Game 3

I agree, they played a near perfect road game. Except for a few mistakes that the Flames capitalized on, this game could have gone the Wings way. I thought it was easy to see the Wings weren't phased by the crowd. Its their veteran presence that shines in situations like last night.

    Flames Vs. Detroit Game 3

This sngle comment makes me wonder if you actually watched the game, or you hold the Wings in such high regard, that they will never meet your expectations. I was amazed at the Wings last night. The relentless forchecking, keeping small gaps etc....really showed me that your team shows up every night. I also realized how much credit Babcock should be getting. The Wings are one of the best coached teams in the league by far.

You know, I feel bad for McCarty

He's only played one game since Boxing Day due to his hernia surgery, and that was one of our last games of the year. It's really no surprise he's watching from the pressbox. Sure, you have emotional attachments to him, but let's be realistic here, the game has passed him by and the surgery has only hurt his chances further. Don't fear though, I expect to see him in the line-up on Sunday to 'shake' things up.

    GAME 1 (4/12): Red Wings 4, Flames 1

And we meet again....Flames vs Wings. This series should be a blast and most likely a long one. Even though I feel the Wings match up well for the Flames, it won't be an easy ride for either side. I just wanted to wish you good luck in the series, and may the best team come out on top. Go Flames Go!
