I don't really care what his final point tally at the end of the year is, he made the team as a grinder and he's gotten so far away from that now. He rarely throws a big hit and is becoming more of a perimeter player.
-
Tomas Kopecky and Dan Cleary
-
I kinda hope so... he'd be a perfect fit. The B's are such a throwback team, great to watch...
-
I'm in the same boat, I'm from Toronto and watch every game... and I agree he hasn't reached my expectations, I thought he'd be a great fit in Toronto but he's just been OK so far. I think St. Louis used him more effectively and his stats showed. He's a tier below Chris Neil and Ian Laperriere but like I said, I'd still take him with no complaints.
-
s***, I'd take him! he's not overly physical but he could get the job done... best thing about it is that he's not a UFA until '10 so he wouldn't just be a playoff rental
-
Just like his play on the ice! Joking, calm down! I think Wings are definitely one of the better soccer playing teams in the league, especially with all the Euros. Conklin looked really good so did Z and Filp.

blackburn075, add me if you wanna get worked in NHL09
-
that's about as realistic as anyone on our roster beating the s*** outta him
-
trade for Neil and then lock him up for a few years
-
That's just good enforcing, did Claude Lemieux deserve a square off? Draper didn't have a chance, why should Claude? Are you saying Darren McCarty is a wannabe tough guy? Check his fight card... educate yourself...
-
Mike Ribeiro Jason Blake Chris Chelios Jack Johnson Mikael Samuelsson Cody McLeod ...all wannabe tough guys
-
I noticed those were your vids too, I subscribed to you on YouTube... really glad someone puts videos of our Griffins up, I really appreciate it. Are you a regular season ticket holder? Go to any away games? Will you be going to playoffs?
-
that's the "word"? or is that what some rando posted on a message board somewhere
-
interesting... Parros was Anaheim's best +/- on the last GDT and now Boogaard is Minnesota's best +/-... further proving how much every team needs an enforcer just joking, calm down
-
when a talent like Tavares comes along, you put aside position, you don't sacrifice that much skill to suite a certain need
-
I really doubt his speed will be a factor, he's been scoring at near a goal per game his career thus far so I'm sure he'll find a way to manage. There seems to be enough concerns about Tavares, is nobody a bit concerned about Hedman? Anytime someone made physical contact with this guy in the World Juniors he dropped like a sack of potatoes, who cares if this guy is 6'5 if he is incredibly soft? I think Hedman will be a fine NHLer, but Tavares will obtain superstar status.

Sens have one of the better NHL09 teams....as far as reality they aren't going anywhere
-
Cody Franson isn't a goon, he's defense and he has about 5 times more points than Mursak has this year in the A
-
I like the idea of having a potential 50-60 goal scorer in our top 6 without having to worry about his cap hit for a bit. Even if we were desperate I would take Tavares over Hedman... most GMs aren't going to sacrifice that much skill just to fit a certain position.
-
HAHAHAHAHA! Only HERE you would find this poll favouring Hedman... unreal hahahaha Tavares, easily It took me about 0.7 seconds to think of one and oh my god he is already in our system too! Tavares has 19 goals and 30 points in 14 games since being traded to London

If this is actually a serious quesiton, it's because they aren't complete dicks. You respect your team mates, if your goalie is bad, EVERYONE KNOWS YOUR GOALIE WAS BAD. It's a dumb question to ask "what went wrong?" when the goalie obviously had a bad game. Interviews mean nothing to the players, you get in, get out, it's over with. It's always the same questions they ask anyways.

Next time someone complains about a loss I'll remember to link them to the Boston Bruins' forums.

No one is saying that so get that through your head. I think the majority of us would be completely satisfied with anything that even remotely resembles the toughness of a professional North American hockey team. We are by far the least interested team when it comes to fighting that any pro team in North America has ever iced... NHL, AHL, ECHL... Literally.
