Eklund really doesn't deserve all the negativity that he gets whenever his name is mentioned. His sources are legit, he tells people what he hears, and talk goes on all the time. He talks to people on the inside of the hockey world and he literally reports everything he hears, if you know how his system works, you probably wouldn't be so fast to judge. Don't get worked up over anything e1, e2, e3, it means he has heard a rumor or two from a reliable source. e4 I think is the one that claims his source said it's a done deal, then e5 is almost definite. Everyday he reports what he hears to you fans, who creep on your computers all day long to hear SOME sort of rumor or update, and yet he always gets blasted, don't get yourself too worked up over a small rumor. The majority of his rumors do not turn out as reported, but that doesn't mean they are fake or lies, just that the deal didn't go through. If you can't help yourself from getting caught up in the dream world that every rumor he reports is going to happen, then don't go to his site. If you want to be somewhat informed of what might happen before it actually happens, give him a go. Show me a better site for hockey rumors and inside information.

I can only smile reading this thread. I'm glad a poll like this was finally taken so some people can wake up.

Do you watch the Red Wings because you like hockey? Or do you watch the Red Wings so you can call yourself a fan and have bragging rights when they win? Who cares if we win a regular season game if the game sucked. If a game sucked and the Wings win, the game still sucked. If the Wings lose but it was a good game, it was still a good game. Why does it matter? Just appreciate hockey for what it is. You can't go 82-0, I'd rather our losses be filled with emotion and out hit teams like the Stars 31-16.

I guess to me it's not all about the Red Wings dominating the score board. I enjoy a good hockey game regardless of the score, as long as it's entertaining. This beats the hell out of the tradition 5-1 Red Wings win where everyone is just going through the motions, with no emotion.

I thought the last 10 minutes looked like a regular Red Wings hockey game but yeah, for me the entire 2nd period and last half of the 1st were just great. I'll take an extremely entertaining half of a game, combined with a dull half of a game, and just call it an exciting game. Much better than usual.

He ought to be in the line up regardless if Stuart is on the LTIR or not. Definitely the most entertaining game this season. The Wings doubled the Stars, who usually dominate the physical play, in hits. Downey had 4 (big) hits in under 5 minutes of play.

That was easily the most entertaining game all season long... do you disagree?

I'd rather watch the Wings lose like that every night than the way we usually win.

Agree completely. People will do anything in their power to make it look bad on the league rather than the team, and then on top of that some people (some of the same) are outraged because the defending Stanley Cup Champions didn't have a representation at the all-star game... it's pretty comical.

I watched it and it was a truly great even. I went 6/7 on my bets so I'm one happy camper right now! I just regret putting money on Kiril purely on hype and not seeing much of him other than a couple video clips, lesson learned. Barnett looked very confident and focused. I've had a gut feeling for over a year he'd be the one to beat Fedor, I guess we'll find out soon enough. Both KO's on the main card were brutal, but so beautiful to watch... Babalu vs. Lil Nog next show for the Light Heavyweight WAMMA title... make it happen!
