Are you saying this goalie on Sweden isn't embellishing every time a Canadian player comes near him?
-
You were suggesting if the Canadian players played "this way" in the NHL around goalies, someone would kick their ass? Isn't it? I'm saying the goalie is embellishing it and it's not that bad at all.
-
Please, this goalie is embarrassing himself in front of millions... flops every single time sometime comes close to him.
-
Hudler seems to be doing OK without Lang holding his hand when they are walking around the arena and Detroit area
-
think of how ridiculous it sounds that we need to keep Kopecky so Hossa will be happy these guys are grown men and professional athletes, perhaps Hossa would want to play on the best team in the league with or without his boyhood friend holding his hand

The 5th and 7th place games are today, right? Are they televised...? Anyone going to be watching the U.S.? I wanna know how it goes in the Slovakia rematch
-
PK is f'in awesome man... he is from my area Rexdale, everyone remembers him from way back because when we were really young he was soo small but soooo fast, he's always been an amazing skater... but now he actually has some size and he is just a powerful dude in anything he does, his shots, hits, rushes.... he'll be an exciting player for years to come
-
That's hilarious... the majority of Canada's roster will be in the NHL in 5 years... Russia's... not so much.
-

Getzlaf?
-
Yeah... 4-1 I think?
-
so do I have this right? Russia vs. Czech tonight in quarters Canada vs. (Russia/Czech) Sweden vs Slovakia 5th: USA vs. (Russia/Czech) is there 7th place game? Finland vs. Germany?
-
Everyone I know would watch a Team Canada game on a Saturday night over a Leafs' game... without question.
-
Gonna try and keep it simple here... U.S. taunted Canada first Canada taunted the U.S. in response U.S. player gave a Canadian player some lumber (which I have no problem with) Canadian player gave it back to U.S. player in response I can admit that both teams weren't showing class, but at the same time they are just kids. Canada was unclassy, U.S. was unclassy. I can admit that, can you? All you keep talking about is how the Canadian taunted the American bench.

Where do you want the next Winter Classic be?
skacore replied to SouthernWingsFan's topic in General
Boston vs. Philly, Calgary vs. Vancouver, Vancouver vs. Edmonton would be the best games -
It was wrong, just saying, they brought it upon themselves.
-
Hayes started the showboating after the U.S. had a quick 2-0 lead, it's not classy to taunt them back but it's a lot more justified than taunting for no reason.
-
Hayes started the entire taunting thing... Rule #1: don't taunt an angry Team Canada DiDomenico took a spill and so did vanRiemsdyk... they were both lying there for about the same time, funny how you only mention DiDomecico Outplayed

Pound for pound, toughest guy in the league. If Tootoo fought every time he was challenged, he'd never touch the ice. My money's on #22 against anyone on the Colorado squad (Laperriere, Tucker, McLeod, McCormick).
-
Tootoo is ******* awesome... that sequence there brings more excitement than an entire Wings' game
-
realistically it's not going to happen but it wouldn't be the end of the world if we made a couple of moves (trades/waivers) like some people seem to think you can only rotate the same handful of guys into so many possible line combinations before you realize "this isn't working"
-
having to sit on the bench and watch Abdelkader-Helm-Downey work 10 times harder than you are, for 10 times less money might be some motivation
-
from my personal experience all my buddies around here hate the Wings cause they play a European style game that is all about systems and discipline, and the team is made up of mostly Europeans. Whereas we grew up watching rugged, North American style hockey with lots of passion

I can't wait for this awesome rivalry to get underway either
