Good call I could see that happening, after all Burke was GM in Vancouver, he did bring Bertuzzi back when he was with the Ducks. That'd be a huge upgrade for Toronto.

Ridiculous. There pretty solid, but not as high of a caliber player as Zetterberg is. $63 million a piece? I think not, Not gonna happen in Vancouver. Only a team really looking to add a 1-2 punch would drop that kind of cash, they would simply be overpaid if they recieve the money they ask. I wish they'd go to the East, I can't stand either of them.

I wouldn't say the Penguins aren't that good, they made it to the finals two years in a row, as did we. Saying there not that good is saying the same for us. Now Detroit is deffinetly the better team, but I wouldn't go as far as saying that Pitt isn't that good. They have a lot of young talent on the team. I am not saying they will or will not make the finals next year but just making a point on your statement. As for the Bruins, they remind me of the Sharks, playoff choke artists. I don't see them making the finals next year. Especially since there more then likely to not re-sign Phil Kessel this off season, they won't be able to keep him after the Krejci signing in mid year. I honestly think hes a big part of the B's sucess and withouth him, thats just another setback.

Yes, if wings are good at anything, its deffinetly not letting a game or two get to them. They usually have a quick turn-around. We don't usually stay in a slump for too long. They should be rested, motivated, and ready to turn it up a notch on home ice. Having Pavel back (hopefully) will bring some extra added mometum boost for the team.

I am sick of all these threads saying that the wings are tired. That obviously is a huge contributor to their play, however I'd like to say its more of special teams. They very well dominated the first two periods last night, out shooting the Penguins by quite a bit. But our penalty kill is awful, and were deffinetly not making up for anything on the power play. Turovers were costing us as well, Ralfalski, inparticular is VERY GUILTY for this, his mistake on the powerplay giving Jordan Staal that goal totally shifted momentum for the Pens. just my two cents.

I sure hope to God that this is true. My mother just called me at work, and said on Sports Talk Radio, they said Datsyuk was out the remainder of the playoffs with a broken foot, and that Lidstrom would still be out with an upper body injury, and was totally uncertain on when a return may be possible. If this is per Ken Holland, per the Detroit News, I would like to assume that this is much more accurate then Sports Talk Radio. So please Hockey God's let them play, and please bring the cup back to HOCKEYTOWN
