I agree, I mean there not winning the cup or anything, but I expect them to make the playoffs, around see 6-8. They got Tom Poti on defense too, not that hes an A+ defensivemen but an upgrade on who they got.

Makes sense, but I would disagree, I think we need another experienced D man. Quincey and Kindl are both young, and make me a little nervous. Kronwall and Lebda are decent, but I would like to see Schneider back, or someone else to take his spot, we need another PP defensemen, and some with more expereicnce.

I like the forwards, I would like to see Bert back though as well if possible, or some how configure him in and take someone off. Defense, not liking that at all. Tanabe is garbage. Pressing is ok, I would rather try and retain Schneider, and then bring someone else up then take either of them too.

He might be, and he might not have the balls to step up to some of the big guys, but you can't deny the man has talent. Hes a superb hockey player, I'd welcome him to Detroit anyday.

I think he was reffering to acquiring one of there players. And I would love to snag Karyia, he wants to play for a cup contending team, well Nashville is way out of the race now, and he would fit in good here I think. I know hes small, but that wrist shot of his, hes clutch sniper, which I think we also need, besides some big bodies. Lmao I think it just might, unless he begs an pleads to be traded to some other garbarge team like L.A. to be happy to have the starting job, only to find out when the season starts his ass will be wariming the bench backing up Garon.

I personally don't care for Raycroft, I don't think hes as good as people make him out to be, maybe its just due to the horrible teams he has played for. The wings won't get him, now or never. I think Toronto should trade hiim, makes perfect sense. Trade him to Florida, Boston, Tampa Bay, etc. A team that needs him. They can pick up a draft pick and maybe a player. That way they will require a draft pick back since they gave up 3 of them for Toskala.

Good signings for the Penguins, keep some veterans in the lineup, mixed with all their young talent. They have a good chance of doing really well this season!

Those New York Jerseys are ugly. But then again, every jersey they ever had was ugly, I was never satisfied with any of there designs. I just think blue and orange don't look good together for the most part. At least not for the Islanders. I like blue and orange on the Denver Broncos footbal jerseys. Flyers aren't slow. The might have big body players and such, but I wouldn't call them slow. They made it to the cup in 1997 with Brindamor, Gratton, LeClair (I think?) Lindross, I wouldn't really call them all slow, at that time. Now they have Gagne, Kapinen, Richards, Had Forseberg, they don't seem to be a slow team, just an off year. I wouldn't call Bobby Clarke an A+ GM by any means, but I woun't call the Flyers slow as well. So I would take them off the list. My top 5 would have to be (not in order) 1. Chicago Blackhawks 2. Washington Capitals 3. Phoenix Coyotes 4. St. Louis Blues 5. Los Angeles Kings

Yeah I am sure thats why, you don't think he would be good if he was in Detroit this past year, or this up coming season? I don't see why people deny him of being good in Detroit anymore, I think he still could put up some numbers.

As far as I know I don't think they ever did, maybe when they were actual "sweaters" but I still don't think that they supported the laces. As far as this new Boston logo, I like the mior change, the B flows with the rest of the desgin much better. Curious to see if they keep the orginal style jersey though. I hope they do!

I am a fan of the red jerseys as the home as well. As stated above, its good to wear your colors are your arena, and dress in white while you on the road. I like the wings red jerseys better anways, they just are more imtidating, and cool in my opinion.

Now I know this is just a rumor, and doesn't mean anything unless it happens, but heres a link, http://www.thefourthperiod.com/news/nas070619.html It doesn't really say a whole lot but what I got out of this reading is that Karyia wants to play for a team that has a good shot at the cup. With Nashville loosing Hartnelll and Timonen, there shot has greatly dropped in my opinion. Nashville's GM states they wont open the purse strings real wide for Karyia, meaning they aren't going to spend top dollar just to keep him in a pred's sweater. So Karyia could be just another memory in Nashville. If this infact happens, Nashville will be going downhill very very fast, with loosing Timonen, Hartnell, Karyia, and most likely Forseberg, who supposedly reported that he will only play for Philadelphia or Colorado. Now Nashville could sign some free agents, and keep there team strong, however those three players were a key piece to Nashville's success.
