Oh I did not tknow that, and being a obsessed fan, I should of known! In that case, I don't have an awnser for that question, because Lidstrom was most deffinetaly the best in the regular season.

My guess is the reasoning for him saying that is beacause of the Ducks winning the cup, and Neidermayer winning the Consmythe that he now is the "best defensemen". I still hope Lidstrom receives it. He totally deserves it! As for wikipedia, that site is created by average people, and in some cases wrong. I wouldn't base the results off that, but its nice to know that who ever created that page put Lidstrom! Hopefully there right!

I love these jerseys too, the days of Mogilny and Bure, oh mann those were the days. I love how you said the black meets the black pants, that was sweet. I really love the red yellow and black look. The new canucks one that was desgined by that desginer, is sick, I dont like that logo, looks like a pilot with the old logo in the goggles lol. I like the color scheme though. I think the bluejackets jerseys are going to be pretty much the design of the third jersey that they used this year, then just have a white verison. So that wont be really a surprise to anyone, unless they fooled us. I like that design a lot better then the orginal jerseys they had, I think those were disgusting.

Those jerseys were the s***! Am I weird for liking those? I think the socks and shorts are bit much, should of been more black, but I like the jerseys

Awesome! He may not be productive in the point department anymore but hes a solid defensemen, even at the age of 45. Glad to see him back for another year, Hes a leader and a contributor. I wish it was 2-3 years though, but a 1 year deal works.

They said numerous times throughout the season they wanted to go to a vintage look for the 2007-2008 season. The first speculation was they were going to where there blue alternates as the main jerseys, and make a white one for the road. But now speculation might be going back to the early 90's red, yellow, and black jerseys. Or just use the vintage colors with a different logo. Its all just speculation as to what the Canucks will do I think I said speculation way more then I should have in a few sentances! haha. This was supposed to quote Hockeytown0001, but it messed up.

Thats debateable. [sp] I think I need another year of seeing him play to to awnser that question. I guarntee that he will be a damn good player, but as far as the core of your team, and eveyone is built around you, I am not sure. If he turns into a roenick type, then yes I feel they can build there team around him. Especially if he takes up some leadership skills. He seems like the type that would be a strong leader and voice his opinion. Not a shy leader like Lidstrom. So we'll see. What's your take on this?

Ryan Getzlaf is a talented young player. I think as he plays more and more he will become a great NHL player. Possibly compare him to a younger Roenick? maybe? But yeah I wouldn't give him my vote for the Cons Mythe but he did play a big roll in the Ducks making it to the finals. I really like this guy, hes a good player, thank god hes on my fantasy team!

I wouldn't mind Kozlov back in the wings uniform if his contract was on the cheaper side. He is getting older, but that would be cool to have him on a line with Datsyuk. I don't see this happening though, with all the players we need to get signed, and some of the other possible FA's that will be out there. but who knows.. as for Feds ehh optimistic on that guy.

Vanek, Drury, and Briere are all amazing players, and I'd love to see on of them on the wings. However, like everyone is stating I just don't see it happening. They all have big price tags with them. If we didn't sign Bertuzzi then MAYBE! But I still doubt it. and we will most likely sign Bertuizzi, and I hope we do. But you never ever know. Who would of thought back in 2001-2002 the wings would of got Hasek?

Not only do I want Bert to resign, but I beleive he will. He has mentioned he wants to stay with the Detroit organization, and I feel that Holland feels the same. He was about 60% - 75% in the playoffs, and we all know he can dominate and play more physical then he was. So I'd love to see him back on the wings!!

I don't like the new idea for the form fitting jerseys, or just having vertical stripes. Butttt, I do like on that link the kings new jerseys, going back to the old colors, same with the capitals. The stars jersey is kind of cool too, however the rest of them suck. I don't like the idea of form fitting or eliminating horizontal stripes.

I have a good feeling about tomorrow nights game. Wings will play amazing and give it tthere all. No perdictions, but a nice physical game and wings pull out with the [b]W[/b]

Well don't let the absensce of one defensemen get to our heads. We still need to play hard and strong, and bring our "A game". You know they will be out there trying to prove something tonight that they can win without Pronger. So lets play like we did for game three and bring this series back to Detroit 3 games to 1.

I have absoultey no idea, and I can't decide. Even though home ice advantage doesn't always mean everything, I like the fact of still having it, its like a saftey net. But I still cannot decide this is seriously a really tough descission.

How can you not have love for these players, pretty much every redwing gives it there all and are playing amazing lately. Homer tops the charts for me, hes just so amazing in front of that net, and the velocity he brings to this hockey club. Hasek is doing splended if I might add. Posting a shutout last night, and his 2nd of the playoffs. Way to go, with the likes of datsyuk, and zetterberg adding in quite a bit. Lidstrom with the most points, and Sammy adding a little grit. Bertuzzi with the checks, and the goal drought finally snapped, I can see where you haave some man love, but in my case its all friendly
