You're crazy if you think Hasek and Osgood are both going. Sorry to break the news to you but as long as Hasek doesn't retire, he will play for the wings next year. As for Osgood he has another year on his contract. Yeah now that yo usay it, I guess that is true. I never really payed attention to who he played with for the Caps, and that does make a difference. I guess he was overrated then when we looked at him.

Is what I always wanted to know is how in the hell do they get those things in the building. Like at Joe Louis, you can't bring things in with you, they pat you down, or you go through the censor thing or whatever. I know a censor wouldn't detect an octupus but still, where do they put them when entering the building lol?

Since were on the topic of Lang leaving. I have a question, I know this somewhat off topic but I thought I would just ask it anyways. What do you think happended to Lang? When he was in Washington he was obviously a different player, and he was putting up solid numbers. Ever since coming to Detroit, who is much more talented team, his production, and effort has tremendously decreased.

Yeah as much as I respect Brett Hull, I think he was full s*** when he said that. he said the chance Datsyuk would stay is none! Well how in the hell would he know, does he talk to Dats, and if this was so true, you know it would be out there already being discussed and people talking about it, and teams that are intrested in him. I think he just let out whatever he felt like saying, and you know Kenny Holland, he <3's Zetterberg and Datsyuk, and I think he will get it done, to keep him in a wings jersey. As for Datsyuk disliking Babcock, I don't know how true that is either. Even if it is true, I don't think its bad enough to make him leave Detroit to play elsewhere.

Gomez would be a good move I think, I have always like Gomez, I think he could play well in Detroit. As for Datsyuk, the way he has been playing lately, I really don't want him to leave Detroit. He was here his whole career so far, and I would hate to loose him, hes just "part" of the wings.

I don't know what it is, but I like his cockiness, or "hardass" attitude. Why, I don't really know, maybe thats how I am myself when I play hockey, I don't measure up to starting fights or getting as many penalties, but I am sort of a rough, competitive player, as well as Datsyuk type. so I am Bertuzzi I guess? Rough, but can handle the puck. that totally goes off topic, but maybe thats why I like Avery I relate to him? I hate saying that though beacause a lot of people don't like him, and then a lot of people would hate me haha. However on/off the ice is totally different. as for all the guys, I heard Avery attracts women like mad

Well of course you can't blame the failure of the Bruins on Lewis himself, but look at when he coached for the wings. Wasn't the best year we had, he flat out is no good. Maybe thats just my opinion though. I never really liked him though, hes an odd fellow.

Yeah april 11th is the date they begin, the wings might start the 12th though depends. www.sportsline.com has key dates on each sport's home page. for instance the NHL tells the playoff date, trade deadline, draft, etc.

serious or not, its never going to happen. CANADA is hockey. America is football. That would be like moving the NFL all to Canda, and getting rid of the teams here. There is no way 6 canadian teams would ever get moved to the states.

Wow good job Avery! I always liked him. I had no idea he was doing that well either this season. To bad he isn't playing for the wings anymore. Oh well, congrats to him, hopefully the Rangers make the playoffs!

Dave Lewis isn't a good coach by any means in my opinion. To be someones sidekick and be the assistant coach he may be decent, but when it comes to him taking control and coaching a team, I don't think he has what it takes. I hope they fire him and bring someone decent into Boston

They are cool, my uncle as a Barry Sanders one. I think they are neat, but I wouldn't ever spend that kind of money on one.

I chipped in too late, I didn't bother reading any of the pages besides this, and the actual 1st response when the thread was started, so I am lost on whats a joke and whats not and what all this discussion is about.

ahahaa Thats funny. THey played those commericals several times during todays game. I like the one with the bum where it says onthe cardboard its coming to and end or something to that effect and then the car drives by and they yell under $17,000 and he throws it out and walks away haha.

I enjoyed them as well. They bring a little humor into the game and just make it fun to listen too. Its nice to get a rest every now and then from hering Mickey and Ken all the time.

Again I probably worded it wrong, I get too excited and type and don't re check my wording. He played an amazing game, but the whole team kind of fell apart at the end, I meant the team needs to play a full 60 minutes, not Dom, sorry Hasek, I appoligize to you personally lol. That would be perfect! But like you said, thats unlikely to happen. Nothing wrong with hoping for that though!
