I like your list for players, seems reasonable. I know the wings have Bertuzzi and he will hopefully be a big contributor with our playoff run, but I think another important player you left out is Holmstrom. WIth his body infront of the next screening, and picking up deflections, and those so called garbarge goals. Seems like those are always the type that seem to find the back of the net during the playoffs, so count him as a key player in this years playoffs, as well as the list you made!

I am fine with Osgood starting vs Nashville and Hasek vs Dallas. They both are solid vs each of these teams, so if you flip-flopped it, it wouldn't make much of a difference. I however am glad Osgood got the start against Nashville because his goaltending has been close to spectacular vs the Preds. With that said, Turco is a panic attack vs Detroit, so we will see how Hasek and the wings measure up vs a potential playoff matchup.

YESS! One week of the regular season left, then its do or die time. I can't wait, hockey every night for a while, then till it narrows down come June. Lets go wings. I hope they play on the 11th. I am siked! ps. I hate when we play teams like Anaheim, etc. Then the games are at 10:30, I am night owl so its fine, but the games don't seem to have the same intensity level, maybe its just me.

But there called the DETROIT Pistons therefore they count. Pistons should move to Detorit though, I really like the palace however.

I feel the same way, I have a more confident feeling entering the playoffs this year. Just mentioning the words Legace and playoffs in the same sentance makes my stomach uneasy.

Detroit is up there, I agree with us being a good city, with good fans. We just need to work on the Detroit Lions, and they all of our teams would be good. I don't see that happening anytime soon though

Omg I know. Were you at the game last year? Where Detroit was up 4-1 in the 3rd and Osgood had an off night and the stormed back and scored 4 3rd period goals. We go into a shoot out and lost I was so upset, they were dominating the Blue jackets pretty much ALL game too. I think the game was March 24, 2006 if you are good with dates. Yeahh, I am not saying that I want to see them go into any more shootouts, I like them and think they are excitng. As long as the two teams are the wings, since they are 2-6. Not a hot record at all.

Well yes, I realize that, but just stating if they went to another one. I mean hey, we had only a few shootouts all year, it seems like we had at least 3 this past month. So you never know.

Good signing for Philly. I am happy, considering they are my favorite team besides the redwings. I would of liked Biron in a wings jersey though. Oh well, hes on one of my two favorites.

Ouch, thats a huge blow for the Islanders. Looks like they won't make the playoffs. Dunham used to be a decent goaltender, if he brings his A game, they might be able to sneak in...

I agree with everyone saying it was alright to use him. He proved in both games that he played well. He was a better option then some of the other Detroit players. He had two good chances too, so I say why not continue to use him. Bringing him right back and putting him under pressure like that is good, gets him right into the swing of things.
