Well in that case then, I think those are some lame rules I mean my yelling and screaming won't change anything but because he is cut you get an automatic double minor is just ridiculous. I guess I can see that you should have control of your stick at all times, but then you have the instances were some goof ball will radomly come along and trip or something and you get called for that as well. I guess its a no win situation either way you look at it. Just added fuel to the fire today, since we have been getting quite the amount of bad calls latley in our games. Yes I second that question, how the crowd react on that one? I was out of my seat here at home when the ref called it no goal. You could tell Babcock was furious, all the players left the bench and he just stood there with this grin on his face.

If you absolutely had to call a penalty in this case, just give him the two minutes then not the extra two becasue he was bleeding. 1. it was totally un-intentional 2. since that was the case and he didnt purposely attempt to high stick him, he ovbiously didn't try and cut him. so just give him the two minutes, they should have acceptions on whole "if hes bleeding" rule, which I personally think that is the dumbest thing ever, if hes bleeding throw an extra 2 minutes up on the board.

haha thats funny, I guess that is a good way to look it. Nice analogy--- sp?

TEEMU SELANNE PAUL KARYIA or JASON ARNOTT

His stick wasn't up high enough to where it could be called high sticking, he was just skating with both his hands about wasit high with his stick going off to the side, sorry if that descrption sucked, but you should know what I mean. Its not like he saw him falling and put his stick up to cut him or anything.

I saw the topic of what red wings jerseys everyone owns. So I decided to start a thread on what hockey autographs do you have and what are they signed on. Martin Brouder, 8x11 photograph Darren McCarty, not sure what size also a photograph Gordie Howe- his published book, "and Howe" Chris Osgood, a hockey card. Ted Lindsay, a hockey puck Luc Robatille, a hockey puck and his rookie hockey LA Kings card Brett Hull, hockey puck The whole Detroit Red Wings Hockey team from the 1979 hockey team on a laminated calender. The whole Detroit Red Wings Hockey team from the 1989 team I beleive. On a wood hockey stick. I have Mike Eastwood, I beleive its his, I would have to take out all my old hockey autographs, on a napkin I forget the rest out of memory. I have a few more hockey cards signed but I cant remember which players. what does everyone else have?

Lebda hit from behind, suffers concussion
Hockey13Playa replied to Zetter is Better's topic in General
Exactly what I thought, I expected a worse outcome for Lebda, thank God its only a concussion, and that he was responsive, waving to the fans and all when he was being carried off the ice. -
I would love Center Ice, but its just so expensive. Its unfortunate that they have to charge an arm and a leg for their service.

I hear ya, I want to move out of Michigan as well, I was thinking of moving to California, to pursue my career and finish up college there. So I was thinking to myself I need to start liking a cali hockey team. I think San Jose would get my vote so then It would be DETROIT, PHILADELPHIA, SAN JOSE.

Red: Osgood Chelios White: Yzerman Other Teams: Flyers, Ducks, Blues, and I think thats it? where might this place be?
-
Hah a garage sale, thats priceless cant beat that though for $5.00
-
whoa, that is a listttt of playyers you got going there! Yess same here I really want to get Yzermans, I want him to sign my Athuentic Wings Jersey !!
-
hilarious. got a good laugh out of this
-
Yeah I suppose you are right. It just seems like even the players don't play with heart anymore. Like in the late 90's we had the grind line, and Yzerman, Shanny, all them they all brought good spirt onto the ice now it just seems like there out there skating, and they win, its like oh cool. Things have changed in that aspect as well.
-
yeah it is quite sad. Whatever happend to the real "Hockey Town"? I sure miss it, the games aren't the same anymore, and Detroit doesn't seem as hockey crazy anymore.

Norrena wasn't really standing on his head. Samuelsson was the biggest waste, he looked effortless. Cleary scored, on kind of a lame goal but hey it works. Franzen had a pretty good deak but Norrena stopped it. So the conclusion is average shots, and average saves.

If that was the case, Buffalo and Detroit for the Stanley Cup Finals that would be crazy for Hasek, playing his former team for Lord Stanley's Cup, even though several faces that he played with are now gone.
-
East Finals: New Jersey vs. Buffalo New Jersey in 7 games West Finals: Detroit vs. San Jose Detroit in 7 games Stanely Cup: Detroit vs. New Jersey Detroit in 6 games 2nd Scenario: East Finals: Atlanta vs. New Jersey New Jersey in 6 games West Finals: San Jose vs. Anaheim Anaheim in 6 games Stanley Cup: New Jersey vs. Anaheim New Jersey in 5 games

Who ever takes this game I think it will be close, a one goal difference. Either a high scoring game or an all out defensive/goalie showdown. 5-4 or 2-1 Wings will take itt, there at the Joe, they know whats at stake and they want to win
-
Well in that case I agree and back up anyone who has mentioned this before me. If we can't sign him, he will head to Washington, which in 3-4 years give or take will be a premier franchise in the NHL, call me crazy but its my opinion.
-
If the Redwings can't resign Datsyuk let me be the first to say he will sign with the Washington Capitals.
-
Yeah, I am fan of the dark jerseys at home. They look sharp. But does anyone know exactly the reason why we are switching up and wearing white at home?
-
Heyy I have a random question for anyone who can anwser it. What ever happend to Zigmund Palffy? Last year he was playing for the Penguins, and this year he hasn't played a single game. Is he injured, did he retire? I never heard anything on him.
-
Oh thanks a lot. I was just looking up teams and there players, and on NHL.com Palffy was still on there roster so I wasn't to sure what had happened to him. Thanks a lot though! How did he hurt his sholder? does Wikipedia or anyone know that anwser to that?
