Just saw the vision too and sadly I agree, not much to it. Love Abs though.

Ah Kopecky, the previous whipping boy. Believe it or not I liked him. Leino has the far greater upside though, has the chance to be a scorer in this league, something Kopecky doesn't have.

What the freaking heck kind of a call is that? RUBBISH. Smash 'em Abs!
-
Eaves a goal and I'm somewhat happy. Either him or Abs.
-
I love Helm but when he's on the PP you know it's struggling.

Grand Rapids Griffins (18-11-0-1) @ Houston Aeros (15-13-2-1) 4:05 pm CST Kindl- The Superstar! (Just like this GDT!)

Unfortunately this weekend wasn't great for me due to be out/the start of the games. Didn't have the chance to watch much at all. I see they lost today, 5-3. Nice to see McGrath contribute and Pyett with a goal. Looks like Larsson struggled in net and was recplaced by McCollum. Griffins really struggling with consistency, to be expected I guess given all the players they're missing.
-
I was out all day, anyone attend/watch the game? I see Mursak scored AGAIN. Got an unsportsmanlike penalty too. Seriously, Mursak has top 6 potential.
-
4/6, stupid Washington.
-
Good period, Griffins up 1-0. Williams from Nylander and Pare. Mursak with a beauty of a play to set up Pyett who was denied.

5 goals in 6 games. Yeah, he's awful! Bertuzzi= Gun!
-
Babcock: 'Abdelkader played a ton of minutes, Eaves has turned into a really good player, Janik played well and move the puck well". Too true Babs! Janik didn't receive much attention but did quite well, that's all we need from him.
-
TOI: 18:37 (3:33 SH), +1, 1 goal, 6 hits. Super stuff. Great signing, now to re-sign him.
-
Penalty on Ryan Malone I believe.
-
Haha, how good is Eaves? He's loving being out there. Full of energy is this guy/
-
EAVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I FREAKING LOVE EAVES!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Abdelkader is thriving in this extra ice-time and responsibility. SIX hits! His buddy Eaves has four. Love 'em both!
-
BERTUZZI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you Todd!
-
He's more defense orientated, for whatever reason. Brilliant defensively. He had a huge hot streak about a month ago, looked absolutely dominant. Driving hard to the net, making crisp passes, great on the PK. He's really cooled down though and you often don't really notice him at all. One thing working in his favour is that he is very good defensively and could be trusted. With Helm likely back next game though I think we could look like this: Holmstrom - Datsyuk - Bertuzzi Abdelkader - Helm - Eaves Miller - Draper - Leino May - Newbury - Maltby Assuming Hank is out, don't want to get too far ahead of myself.
-
This is absolutely ridiculous. Mattias Ritola? We need a centre though. Emmerton? Jeremy Williams is a winger. Stamkos is an absolute gun, already taken 4 shots.

Thanks for bringing that up, I was going to address this. I highly doubt there will be Weekend Picks next week, I figure too many people will be away/away from a computer so I don't want all the regulars missing. ATTENTION: For those who are missing/listed twice ect in the standings, don't panic. My computer has had a fit so I had to work up the standings on a different computer in a way I've never done before. I still have my spreadsheet and have all the results from week to week so don't worry. This week I just wanted to roughly get up the standings but realised as I was doing it there might be a mistake or two.

You beauty!! Stole a point! 33 seconds remaining, P. Rissmiller (7) M. Nylander, J. Kindl Nylander 3 assists. Welcome back!

Grand Rapids Griffins (17-10-0-0) @ Peoria Rivermen (15-10-1-2) 7:00pm CST A lot has chanegd over the past few days. NHL veteran Michael Nylander returns to Grand Rapids but there have been a few departures. Rookie sensation Tomas Tatar leaves for the WJC and Dick Axelsson has returned home. Kris Newbury is up with Detroit and although there is no words on call-ups just yet, one of Kindl or Janik might be re-assigned to Detroit and therefore not be in the line-up tonight. Some major reshuffling of the line-up will need to occur. Projected Line-up: Ritola - McGrath - Mursak Rismiller - Nylander - Williams Emmerton - Pare - Walsh Vigilante - Tardif - Crosty Kolosov - Janik Kindl - Delmore Ehrhardt - Pyett Larsson McCollum GO GRIFFINS!
