I know, seems to have happened an awful lot. I'll probably opt to watch the Griffins because for whatever reason my computer seems to be able to stream the AHL better. I think he's been a bit banged up so maybe that's a reason for the struggles. Would be good if he had a strong one tonight.

I like Babcock but seriously, I can't understand what he's doing with the lines right now. THEY ARE NOT WORKING, TRY SOMETHING ELSE.

I thought Abdelkader was terrific last night, one of our best players. Abdelkader-Datsyuk-Leino Abs deserves good minutes and I thought Leino looked good with Abs last night- they did spent a fair bit of time on the same line with the Griffins. Miller-Zetterberg-Cleary They joined forces in the third last night and looked effective. Miller's coming off his best game and deserves another shot to prove what he's got. Eaves-Helm-Bertuzzi Two speedsters with the big body who can shoot (well, sort of). Holmstrom-Draper-Maltby The veterans unite. Basically it's just a line of scraps.

Reading through this thread is embarrassing and cringeworthy, and I contributed to that also. Funny that Abdelkader is now one of my favourite players as he does everything well. Great leader, decent offensive upside (maybe 20-20), solid defensively and is physical. Latendresse, the famous Latendresse, has just been traded as he can't score, his attitude sucks and he can't skate. Looks like Holland wasn't so far off the mark after all...

10 goals, 20 assists in 25 games so far this season. One of our most underrated prospects, I hope he can keep up his great form this season.

First period, and a bit of the second, we were pretty flat. However it must be said, enough with the negativity. I thought we DOMINATED from that point onwards and it was only an amazingly hot goaltender in Rinne which got us a loss tonight. Bertuzzi looked good in the third, Leino was starting to make plays, Abdelkader was terrific, Miller looks confident, Meech had one of his best games ever, Osgood was pretty good. A lot to like from the game, let's focus on the positives. We controlled the play but were unfortunate to run into a hot goalie. I'm disappointed we lost but no real anger.

PLEASE, PLEASE give Eaves a shot with Datsyuk. He's got a VERY good shot.

Does anyone else think this is a great (or at least potentially great) deal for Montreal? Quite frankly, Latendresse is awful.

Players who have played well: Osgood (kept us in it), Datsyuk (stealing pucks, making beautiful passes), Abdelkader (playing with energy, drew a penalty, looks sharp), Miller (great goal). Players who should've stayed home: Holmstrom (painfully slow and reckless), Bertuzzi (...), Eaves (looked a step slower tonight and has been standing around), Leino (guy does nothing), Rafalski (careless pass count: 10).

Wow, Datsyuk has terrific line-mates.

I'm starting to understand the Versus hate, they're pretty bad. Abdelkader has been very, very good tonight. Give him more ice-time, put him on a wing with Dats.

BTW, did Miller take Leino's spot on the 2nd line? If so wise move, Leino has been horrible (again) tonight.

MILLER TIME!!! Wow! He's been great tonight.

Thankfully Osgood has been sharp or else this could be 4/5-0.

Not saying he's at all to blame for anything, but seriously, Leino is exceedingly average.
