What have you seen/heard that has led to you believe he's been struggling this season? From all reports he's looked quite good and now that Delmore is out he's putting up the points too. I'd love Horton though, a lot question his attitude and he's often said to be very lazy but Florida don't exactly have the best and most inspiring team...

The Griffins found themselves in an early 2-0 hole but regrouped by scoring 5 of the next 6 goals. Larsson was shaky early but responded to make 25 saves and get his first win of the season. Michael Nylander had a 3 assist debut for the Griffins as he impressed on the PP with his poise and ability to control the puck. The only concern to come from last night was the injuries to Delmore and Axelsson. Delmore injured a shoulder late whereas Axelsson's injury is unknown as the winger missed the 3rd period. The Griffins will seek to gain revenge for their narrow 3-2 loss to Toronto exactly two weeks prior. I mentioned Lidstrom because he once had a game where his +/- took a beating. Flip's did last night but it wasn't exactly as though he had a stinker, I think being out there in the last minute in an attempt to tie the game says that he's a 2nd liner in the eyes of the coach. Tied for 2nd in most goals is Flip, and I bring you this quote from Babcock: I'm allowed to take out my frustration on a stupid comment.

I once tossed up the idea of whether I could do a picking %. As in, who had the highest % of games picked correctly, therefore more people are eligable to win or at least finish top of that category. I think though it's fair to reward the person who simply picks the most winners throughout the course of a season.

No mate, I hope it's YOU that can do better. You made the point that because Flip was -3 and Williams -2 they are therefore not 2nd liners. How is +/- refelective of whether they are 2nd liners or not? How can Flip be responsible for Rafalski turning the puck over? How can he be resposible for an empty net goal? I think you'll find Lidstrom was -4 a few years ago! Oh no, not 1st pairing material!!!

What a ridiculous post. So the 1st goal, Rafalski turns it over, goal. Flip/Willy's fault? 2nd goal, unbelievably weak goal. Flip/Willy's fault? 3rd goal, empty netter. Flip's fault? Staggering post, looking for something or someone to tee off at.

Great article, glowing reviews. He seems like a tremendous prospect, he's got the attributes that will make him a possible 3rd/4th liner ala Maltby but I think he's got some real good offensive, top 6 potential. I've been keeping a real close eye on his progress for a while now.

Worst PP ever? They had the puck more than we did. Pathetic.

Yeah, I think this season might end early. I hate being negative, but who's going to score our goals? PP after PP and nothing to show for it. Terrible defence which produces turnovers every game and average goaltending. This could be a painful season.

Stream too choppy, back to good ol' reliable WXYT, even if it is so far behind.

Seriously, we lack offence. Leino is good but not ready to be a 2nd line scorer yet. Williams is streaky.
