Bertuzzi looks good. Filppula looks like Datsyuk jnr, can't believe how much more physical he's playing this season. And I really like the look of Eaves.

Nice shift there by the 2nd line, Filppula is playing so much more physical this season, great to see. Otherwise an awful start. Boring.

Cheers for that mate, love having people attend the games and pass on their thoughts. So Kindl actually played quite well? That's encouraging. Ritola's board work? So I'm assuming he's looking strong and willing to play physical, like he did with the Wings during PS. These two are my favourite prospects. Any other thoughts, on Axelsson or Mursak perhaps?

Would've liked to see him debut tonight, I think the Griffins could do with his offensive prowess too. I'm 99% sure he'll play in their next game.

I thought he played well last night, Babs mentioned that he was good in his post game interview. I like the speed and intensity that he brings, and he showed some good signs on the PK. I really like him and think he'll continue to develop and learn our system as the season wears on.

Really encouraging signs from tonight's game. 1st line really clicked and Bertuzzi did not look out of place. Babs said it probably wasn't going to be a permanent thing but on what we saw from the 1st and 2nd lines, how could it not be? Filppula centered the 2nd line beautifully tonight and I wasn't sure how they would fare but they generated a ton of chances. I thought Eaves had a good debut and Abdelkader played well. On defence Stuart is off to a very nice start to the season. Very good win.

Another fighting major for Johnston tonight. What's got into this kid? Needs to start scoring though. I like the fact that Belleville have conceded 17 goals the past 2 games and Johnston hasn't been on the ice for a single ES goal against.

I wish we could play Washington, or East teams in general, more often. This is a terrific game.

Yeah pretty disappointing two concede a two goal lead. Also disappointing as you mentioned that Kindl went from a plus to a negative. Pointless through two games and now a minus, at this rate I'd rather Kolosov... Toronto got goals at 19:41 of the 2nd and 19:24 of the 3rd, not good. We did get a goal with a second left though. I'd be happy to go 3-2 on this 5 game road trip to start the season.

I guess they feel as though Tatar isn't quite ready yet, they've got a good roster right now and until a spot opens up he'll have to wait. Marlies tie it up at 2 with 19 seconds remaining. Griffins scoring went like this: 1. GR Williams, (1) , 13:35 1. GR Janik, (1) (Ritola), 19:59 1 period left, lets get the W.

No Tatar again tonight. 4th line is Walsh/Vigilante/Mursak. Very pleased to see Mursak get another game but really wish they'd send Tatar to the OHL or play him, sitting him is doing his development no favours. Interesting to note that Pare is the captain for this one.

Terrible news, just terrible. Lets hope his rehab goes well and he can play before the season is out and be a 'playoff acquisition'. I'm a bit concerned about his massive long term contract though, he's already 29 and an ACL injury isn't a good start. Flip with Dats. I also didn't mind Holmstrom playing with Flip at times late last season, brought out the physical play in Flip.
