Can't believe Jan isn't playing, one of my favourites. Man I love hearing Kindl on the PP for Detroit. Hopefully we get used to hearing that. Sounds like Delmore stuffed up, almost conceded a shortie.

I missed the race, see Webber had an accident. Normally his engine gives up the ghost, rare that he has an accident. What exactly happened and was it his fault? Unfortunately he's struggled over the past few races.

My man Stephen Johnston scored for Team Howe yesterday, excellent. Really want this kid to make it. I'm a bit shocked at Tatar, the fact that he's the only draftee still at camp says wonders about how well he's played, how good his attitude is and how highly we rate him. It was probably a boom/bust pick but the very, very early signs are certainly extremely encouraging.

There's so many because I feel like this is going to be a really exciting season due to the whole heap of youngsters/new signings. But if I had to chose one I'd go Filppula. I think he will continue to take strides towards becoming a great player for Detroit. I'm really keen to see how he fares this season and it's important for him to get off to a positive start and not to lose confidence.

Finally! That's what I wanted to happen all of last season, never happened. Good to see they realised what one of the main problems was, they allowedthe opposition far too much time and space.

Kindl is, without any doubt whatsoever, my favourite prospect. I’ve been pumped about him ever since the day he was drafted. So much upside, the most of any of our prospects. He’s still very raw, is prone to frustrating turnovers and he’s very inconsistent but I think the end result will be something very special. That quote in bold is terrific to read, he’s obviously got his head screwed on right. To his credit, he’s been maligned a fair bit already throughout his young career and you never seem him drop his head. He might have had struggles on the ice but his effort can never be faulted. Looking forward to a good season from Jakub.

Agreed, I rate Michalek very highly. Cheecho...well he's going to be an interesting one. Can he find his best hockey again? If so the Sens got a good deal.

Just a quick question guys, how much is it for a season ticket and where abouts to season ticket holders generally sit? One specific place or random places throughout the arena ect? Obviously being in Australia it's not as though I'm about to get one, just curious!

Datsyuk - Zetterberg - Holmstrom Franzen - Filppula - Bertuzzi/Cleary Leino - Helm - Cleary/Betuzzi Eaves - Draper - Williams OR Filppula - Datsyuk - Franzen Cleary - Zetterberg - Holmstrom Leino - Helm - Betuzzi Eaves - Draper - Williams PS. Got a few different wingers/players on RW/LW but whatever... Whichever way you want it, great line-up. Lots of depth, lots of potential lines that we can mix and match. As for the prospect rosters, I'm excited with the idea of Kindl being paired with Lidstrom. Our best prospect who has massive upside but is still very raw paired with the best defenceman in the game. Can only be a good thing and a terrific learning experience for the youngster.

Andrej Nestrasil had a quietly impressive tournament with 3 points in 4 games. Mursak had a goal last night and finished with 5 points in 4 games including at least 1 in every game. Very encouraging signs for Jan. Look what happens when we finally play McCollum, we get a comprehensive victory!

Tatar with another assist which makes 5 points in 3 games. Mursak with 4 points and Lashoff has one point in each three games. Our goalies haven't been too flash though.

Lashoff is quickly becoming one of my favourite prospects. I love his attitude: Lashoff The kid is quality.

Pearce had a tough one, expect a few of those over the journy. Great to see Tatar do well again! 3+1 in 2 games, I like!

Not the start I was hoping for. Lets hope when he gets a shot he's determined to make the most of it, should get a game tonight.

Tomas Tatar! Bags his second. Ferraro and Kolosov assist. Tatar + Ferraro, now hopefully that's something we see many, many times over the years.

Too be honest I'm not expecting much from Ryno. He's not going to make the Wings but somehow he's of the opinion that he has a shot. And it looks as though he's not willing to spend the season in Grand Rapids ala Leino. Expecting him to bomb out and then go back home, prove me wronh Johan.

A GDT! Really hope Stephen Johnston can have a strong tournament, he needs it. Last season was a tough one for the youngster, he showed some promising signs early but had a poor second half, mainly due to injuries. I think he's got the size, skill and upside to be a nice 3rd line forward down the track, but first he'll have to earn another contract. That starts tonight. Dick Axelsson should hopefully dominate and I hope Ferraro lights it up. Lashoff is the defenseman I'm most looking forward to seeing and Mursak and Tatar are also intriguing prospects, the former in particUlar needs to show some signs. Can't wait!
