I gotta admit, I've lost faith in this guy over the years. I'm not so high on him anymore, I just hope he can stay injury free this season and show us what he's capable of.

Great stuff, and all three needed it. Nyquist could be an excellent player and with added strength he should step up again this year. Not much has been said about Samuelsson, at all, so this can only be good. And Julian Cayer I have high hopes for as a big, solid 3rd/4th line forward who can chip in with the occasional offence.

May I ask why was this directed at me? I never said anything, at all, about Draper.

All very well but I think it's painfully obviously he will never be 100% for the playoffs because of the sacrafices me makes during the regular season. He's always going to be banged up and therefore unable to produce.

I'm starting to think Dumars has no accountability whatsoever.

I will really, really, really miss him. I don't care what anyone says, he was a darn good player. Fantastic passer, ripper of a shot, money in the shootout and seemed like a great character around the club. He's going to be missed, especially his magic on the PP. In saying all that, call me desperate but I'm not giving up on him yet. Until we hear something from Holland that says it's a done deal and no turning back then I'm not prepared to say goodbye.

Thanks for that info regardling Kolosov. I knew he has upside as a physical force but didn't know we rated his offensive game that much. He did show the odd glimpse but not really enough to suggest he could be anything more than Lilja, if he even reaches that level of offence. I heard the same reports from posters over at Griffins territory, they all seemed to indicate that as the season went along he became more of a physical presence and was starting to use his body more. He's a giant with a big frame, if he continues his willingess to hit he could become a very solid prospect.

What the freaking heck is this? Surely not? On one hand it's better than losing him to another team and seeing him tear it up but it that did happen at least we would get some compensatory picks. Hudler???

Very accurate post. Kindl is my favourite prospect, ever since we drafted him I've followed his progress very closely. While he's improved, this really is a huge season for Kindl. He MUST improve his consistency, going from great one night to awful the nextt simply won't cut it. He's got to be the best performed defenceman for the Griffins on a consistent basis. He's got the talent, but it appears the lack of hockey sense sets him back. For an offensive defenceman he really needs to start putting up more points but improving the defence should be the #1 priority.

Great to have Leino back! And what a price! What's wrong with a bit of realism? 25-30 goals, easily? He went through long periods in the AHL where he couldn't score and yet he's going to net this many in his rookie NHL season?

Why the heck would the trade Quincey? He was a stud for them last season. Poor Kyle.

Great news!! Leino is going to be a very good player, I expect big things from him next season just as long as he gets solid ice-time. If we can sign him cheap it'll be even better. Samuelsson, well I'll miss his play in the playoffs and for that reason there's a part of me that is sad to see him leave but his constant frustrating play means this is a good thing long-term. Sounds like Hudler might not be back either, that is extremely disappointing.
