Agreed. He's mostly done his damage on the PP. Cleary had better play because the lines with him playing look a whole lot better. Franzen-Zetterberg-Cleary Datsyuk-Filppula-Hossa Datsyuk and Filppula show a LOT of chemistry IMO. And surely Hossa is bound to actually do something? And that top line has been great so far so no reason to split them up. I really hate the idea of a Holmstrom-Filppula-Hossa line because Homer is borderling useless now and he's brining that line down.

He knows how to put up the points but he is horribly inconsistent defensively. Capable of doing very good things and then the very next shift he'll do something stupid. Too many turnovers and too many shots that go wide.

Exactly, well said. Don't get me started on Holmstrom. I don't think you could ever question his effort but he's just giving us nothing offensively out there, not a thing. Hossa is trying (doesn't seem like the right word) to do it all by himself, doesn't bother passing, isn't going to the net. Everytime he's out there he has the puck and it's a 2-on-1, the end result is a turnover or an odd man rish the other way. He's not even looking for Flip, they'e getting in each others way, basically our 2nd line has become useless due to Hossa's inability to make anything happen and persistant to do it all himself.

Get Hossa off Flip's line. At least Filppula is TRYING. I honestly couldn't say the same for Hossa. What a worthless...
