As long as he keeps putting up the points though Babcock and some fans will think he's super. He's brutal every second game.
-
Rafalski= rubbish.
-
Rafalski is awesome, yeah Babs! Not. Horrible.
-
Yeah Babs, not to mention that he constantly turned the puck over and was beaten wide in every game for the first half of the season... He's improved a bit lately but defensively he's still pretty dodgy. He obviously has no troubles racking up the points but I think Babcock is going a bit far with this assessment. And those lines we used in practice aren't great. Here's the lines they skated with in practice: Franzen-Datsyuk-Samuelsson Kopecky-Zetterberg-Cleary Hudler-Filppula-Maltby Meech-Draper-Downey Splitting up Dats and Hank? I guess they haven't been that hot lately. I like Hudler with Filppula, but Maltby on the 3rd line? Heck no. 4th line looks awful. Hopefully these really are just practice lines and they'll change when the game starts.
-
On track to get 1/5, awesome. I'm on a roll.
-
Who then? Helm is a lock to centre the 4th line so it comes down to Hudler or Kopecky. Hudler sees regular PP time and was great in our Cup run whilst Kopecky is hitting career best form and is seeing time on the PK. You can't scratch either of these guys for Maltby.
-
Close, but... Dats - Hank - Homer Franzen - Fil - Hossa Cleary - Drapes - Sammy Hudler - Helm - Kopecky (Leino/Maltby)

I love this video. Love it. 1:10.

McColllum stopped 21 of 23 shots today in a 5-2 win. Must have been some impressive stops amongst the 21 as he was awarded the 1st star. This kid is one heck of a prospect, every single game in a high scoring league he dominates. First in the league for GAA (2.07) and 2nd in S% (.929). Gun!

You are a legend! Fantastic pics mate! Kindl looks real solid, physically mature now. Love that last pic of Helm.

Great win tonight, 3-1. Larsson a very good performance in net with 30 saves on 31 shots. Just 4 points behind Manitoba now having played 63 games apiece. -
2008-2009 NBA Season Thread (Pistons trade for Allen Iverson)
Aussie_Wing replied to timothy1997's topic in Other Sports
I sure hope so! Awesome player and would be exactly what we need. I've only seen pics of Billups being introduced to the crowd but it's touching. He was my favourite player and I still miss him. And yes, Pistons back to their best without AI. As expected, we're better off without him. -
Strange, strange happenings tonight. Certainly not complaining.

That's real bad news about Galvin, he's been having a pretty decent season and will be missed. Who is Kindl's defensive partner now that he's out?
