Grand Rapids Griffins (8-3-2-1) @ Milwaukee Admirals (7-5-0-1) @ The Griffins are on the road to play their 4th game in 5 nights as they take on the Milwaukee Admirals who downed the Griffins just two days back. Recently acquired Hugh Jessiman scored the GWG as Milwaukee held on to a 5-4 victory. Former Griffin Drew MacIntyre is expected to get the start for Milwaukee. Ville Leino is back in form having gone at a point per game pace since he returned whereas Darren Helm is on a four game point streak. Rookie Cory Emmerton had a multi point game in his last outing and should be in the line-up again tonight. Evan McGrath and Jan Mursak were healthy scratches two days back but are likely to play tonight as they look to rotate the team. The only reason to watch them is Brent Burns. How good is he? Played as a forward tonight and looked threatening. Would have to have the longest reach in the league.

I must be the only one who thinks this is a good deal for the Avs. 78 points in his rookie season, 71 last season, and he’ll probably put up 70+ again this season. He’s only 22, with a heap of improvement left in him so this is a good deal, very decent value.

But the way the 3rd line is now, they're really performing and look threatening. Kopecky is actually playing to his potential, and Hudler and Flip have great chemisty. I think Cleary just going to have to sacrifice his ice-time and play on the 4th as it gives us much better depth.

Agreed. And I've been saying they could go with this line for a while now, they played together in Grand Rapids and had success there. When Cleary gets back could he go to the 4th line so we keep these guys together?

That's awful news. He has been such a fantastic player for the Blues since crossing over from Anaheim. Let's hope it's not as serious as first thought, but by reading that it doesn't sound good.

Seeing as though this thread isn’t that old, I thought I might as well just bump it. He’s the latest prospect to be featured in an article at RWC: Link Out of all the prospects we have in our system, he's the guy I want to make it the most. I reckon I’ve followed every single box score he’s played in since we drafted him.

Aside from the fact that it flat out simply won’t happen, it’s not a bad effort. But Emmerton? The guy has already been a healthy scratch about 3 or 4 times this season and has had some awful games where he’s looked totally lost. He had 2 assists today which is only the 3rd game in which he’s registered a point. Ritola might be one of my favourites and I might be biased but he’s a lot closer to the Wings than Emmerton is. Even Dick Axelsson is probably closer.
