You know what, I was thinking the exact same thing. I was getting pretty annoyed watching, especially on that PP late in the game where the puck went sailing down the ice and he didn't move. Wish we had Marty Turno handling the puck tonight.

Was ridiculous wasn't it? If he didn't score the guy it would've been the guy right next to him. Shocking coverage. I'm pretty shattered because we had all the momentum for the final 10-15 minutes. We absolutely dominated them. We only played well for 20 minutes and it wasn't enough. If we had played like that the entire game the result would have been different. And two players that need to lift are Rafalski and Cleary.

I know what you mean. I'm getting the same feed. "What a shot by Sidney Crosby. What a pass by Sidney Crosby. What speed by Sidney Crosby". It's never just Crosby, always SIDNEY CROSBY. Wings played a pretty ordinary period and in reality are lucky not to be at least 2 or 3 goals down. Our PP is also really bad right now.

How did I insinuate that Flip would be superior to Hossa? Never did I do such a thing. Hossa is one of the elite players in the league. All I was saying is that in order to get Hossa we would've most likely had to trade Flip and/or Huds and most probably our 1st round pick. Look what Pittsburgh had to give up for Hossa. All I'm saying is that he wouldn't have been worth it, even more so because he is a rental.

How good has he played in the first two games? He has been an absolute monster out there! 2 points tonight, +3 and 5 hits. He has completely taken care of Crosby in particular and he is playing so physically. He is strong along the boards and seems to be able to take the Pens forwards out of the dangerous spots on the ice. What an addition to this team and that leads me to my next point, what a great signing by Holland.

How many times does he skate into the offensive zone up against 2-3 players and still manage to make a play? He definitely reminds me of Zetterberg with his stick handling and offensive instincts. In a few years time he will be very, very good.

Oh don't get me started on that! Half if not more of this board were more than prepared to see Flipper go, thankfully Holland, Babs and co know what a talent we have on our hands. And is Hossa even playing in this series?

As you can imagine, I was going nuts. It was a sensational goal, really it was. Airborne and he flicks the puck into the net. Won't get tired of watching that beauty. And it wasn't just the goal, he was unbelievable tonight, as he was in Game 1.

Serious? Wow, they gave up an awful lot to get him. And everyone was saying he wouldn't just be a rental. And people were prepared to send Hudler and/or Filppula packing.
