Datsyuk needs help. If they're not going to call up Nyquist then this is what I'd do: Hudler - Datsyuk - Eaves Filppula - Zetterberg - Franzen Cleary - Helm - Abdelkader Brunnstrom - Miller - Holmstrom 1st line is small, but Eaves brings speed and energy, and Hudler brings some skill. It might not work, but it is worth a shot. 2nd line stays the same. 3rd line is virtually the same, just swapping Cleary and Hudler. 4th line is a mixture of everything, but they won't play much. No Emmerton because he needs a seat, his play tonight was pathetic. Learn how to win a faceoff young man.

Freaking heck what a garbage game that was, by everyone not named Howard, Helm, Eaves and Abdelkader. I hate wasting my time when they don't even seem to care.
-
Well, that was a waste of 2.5 hours. Night all.
-
Great game Franzen, great game mate.
-
LOL, worst icing call ever.
-
He rewarded his hardest working players with PP time. How is that a bad move?
-
Well done Commodore.
-
We can't win a PP faceoff.
-
Datsyuk is playing like trash, trying to do it all (I get that you're linemates are useless), but still, he's totally ineffective.
-
I can't quite comprehend how bad Cleary is playing. And Hudler, but that I can comprehend.
-
Man I hope it's not a serious injury, like a shoulder or wrist or something. Looked potentially bad. And maybe it's my fault, I have both White and Kronwall in my fantasy team...
-
Awful, awful period. Garbage PP, and our two leaders, Datsyuk and Zetterberg, might as well have been replaced by Helm and Emmerton on that PP. And lastly, Jonathan Ericsson could quite possibly be the worst player in the NHL.

Jurco is enjoying an exceptional start to the season. In the past he's been criticised for his inconsistent play, but so far this season he seems to be bringing it every night. Out of the 19 games he has played, he's only been held off the scoresheet twice. With line mate and top prospect Jonathan Huburdeau currently injured with a broken foot, Jurco’s had to step up in his absence. His totals for the season are 13 goals, 14 assists 27 points. He’s also a +18. He’s currently enjoying a four game goal streak. He’s on track to smash his previous career high totals, and if he keeps it up, I think there’s every chance he turns pro with Grand Rapids next season.

Well Aubry's starting to get comfortable in the AHL. He scored his first pro goal on Wednesday, and on Friday (on his 20th birthday) he scored again. He's an even +/- in 11 games, not bad considering half the team is a minus. He's starting to shoot the puck a lot more (8 SOG past 3 games), so nice to to see him already adapting to the AHL. Love his size, skill and skating.

I doubt it'll happen, but yes, how insanely awesome would it be to get both Parise and Suter? Mind exploded.

Sorry I'm late but... Kindl CAN fight. He can do a lot better than that, I think he just never really got settled in that one. Give him another chance (not sure if he'll take it after that!) and he'll do much better. Anyway really liking his play this season.

Well that sucks. White's been super impressive this season. Speedy recovery Ian.
-
Nice to hear that his recovery is going well. Don't rush it though Jan, take your time, your speed and energy will be important down the stretch as as few of the guys start to tire. As for the talk about how this will effect his eped, Kopitar badly injured his ankle (worse than Jan) late last season, and he's never looked quicker nor has he played better. He's a young kid, I'm sure he'll be back to his speedy self soon after he returns.
-
That's one serious outburst.
-
How could anyone want to split up F-Z-F? And Bertuzzi needs to keep on sitting.
-
I think he's going to be crazy good in the WJC. Can't wait to see him do his thing on the PP!
-
GWG for Sproul tonight, to go with a very impressive +4, which puts him at a team best +17 for the season.
-
Goal and assist for Sheahan tonight, so he’s up to 10 points in 8 games. Get excited.
-
Love him, one of my favourites, which says something considering I am very meh about goalies.

Filppula was amazing tonight. What a season he's having.
